What Does The Newest Wrinkle In The MAL Probe Mean?

What shall we make of this (other than “yellow”, for libertarians, on a white background is not a good idea).

That’s correct. Trump had nothing to do with it. Mike Lee had a new job for Garland in 2020, however.

Oct 10, 2020 — “Instead of a special prosecutor, @ realDonaldTrump should nominate Merrick Garland to replace James Comey,” Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) tweeted.

I’m waiting for more information about “draining the pool,” but one thing I was thinking about last night was this could be a case for insurance fraud. I do not know why I had that thought. All I could see was a destroyed computer system, which means there is a way to destroy evidence, plus file a claim with the insurance company. We all know that Trump loves to file inflated insurance claims. I’m thinking the resort needs a computer system, Trump needs certain computer records gone from the system, and I would not be surprised he needed money. To the “stable genius” this is a brilliant plan.

Perhaps the Russians were involved. They’re good at draining things, apparently.

Ralph: isn’t this just the digital reincarnation of the barbershop, bowling alley or lodge conversations between the old men railing against ‘those people*’?

Living here in Florida I can assure you that immigrants are essential to the economy and we have lots of them. Because of what we do, my company has been using e-verify since the program started, but I can assure you probably millions of non citizens live and work here, and many are “illegal.” The MAGA Florida laws threaten the agricultural and hospitality industries and a lot of MAGA supporters with prison time. I can’t wait to see how SB 1718 is enforced.

“Oh noes!” If the immigrants leave our state then who will pick our crops, build-well anything, dirty jobs will have pay more to get 'Mericans to get their hands dirty!"
I thought “E-verify” was a dirty word in Republican circles?

In that case, shouldn’t Garland be indicting Mitch McConnell?

Nah, he’s no mind reader, he’s just another Republican projector.

Early reports are that this has not (so far) affected the power grid.
