Why haven’t we heard screeching about fake results and gazillions of lawsuits?
Whether it was Winston Churchill or Mark Twain who first said it, this adage has been sustaining me for some time now.
Anyone that would let Charlie Kirk on their front porch without summarily having him escorted off the property has earned the skepticism of his neighbors.

On Black pilots and DEI programs (January 2024): Kirk blamed diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives for aviation safety issues, saying, “If I see a Black pilot, I’m going to be like, ‘Boy, I hope he’s qualified.’” He extended this to other fields, stating he wouldn’t want a “Black, lesbian surgeon.” This was widely condemned as racist stereotyping. He has repeatedly called DEI “anti-White.” Source: NBC News ; Newsweek ; Wikipedia .

On Black women and intellectual capacity (July 2023): Referring to prominent Black women like Michelle Obama, Joy Reid, and Kamala Harris, Kirk said, “Yeah, we know. You do not have the brain processing power to otherwise be taken really seriously. On “prowling Blacks” targeting whites (undated, but referenced in 2020s speeches): Kirk claimed, “Prowling Blacks go around for fun to go target white people” in urban America, promoting the idea of random anti-white violence. On George Floyd and systemic racism (2020): Kirk called George Floyd a “scumbag” and denied systemic racism, stating, “We have been propagandized… to believe that America is a vicious, racist country.” He argued Black-on-white crime happens 3x more often than the reverse, using it to dismiss racial justice claims. On Black Lives Matter and interracial crime (September 2025): In response to a murder of a white woman by a Black suspect, Kirk highlighted the racial aspect, saying if races were reversed, it would be a “national story” leading to “sweeping political changes.” He accused media of ignoring Black-on-white crime and called Van Jones’s comment about a “virus in [white people’s] brain” (racism) one of the “most racist things I’ve ever heard.” Sources: X posts [post:62], [post:64], [post:68], [post:70]; Al Jazeera .

On slavery and Black culture (via Turning Point USA affiliate, 2018): An email from TPUSA’s Candace Owens included an essay claiming the “experiment” of bringing Black people to the U.S. as slaves “failed,” that Black culture is an “un-fixable and crime-ridden mess,” and whites are “exhausted” by Blacks (not racist, per the essay). Kirk’s organization was tied to it. Source: ADL .

General denial of racism (ongoing): Kirk equated statements like “There is only one race, the human race” or “America is the land of opportunity” with “racist microaggressions.” He has said “culture and race are the same” and non-White people “can never be Americans.” Sources: X post [post:91]; SDL X post [post:85].
The book the Submerged state is a good explainer about how “socialism” is embedded into most Americans lives and contributes to their prosperity.
“Keep your government hands off my Medicare!” Such comments spotlight a central question animating Suzanne Mettler’s provocative and timely why are many Americans unaware of government social benefits and so hostile to them in principle, even though they receive them? “
“As a result, citizens are unaware not only of the benefits they receive, but of the massive advantages given to powerful interests, such as insurance companies and the financial industry. Neither do they realize that the policies of the submerged state shower their largest benefits on the most affluent Americans, exacerbating inequality. Mettler analyzes three Obama reforms—student aid, tax relief, and health care—to reveal the submerged state and its consequences, demonstrating how structurally difficult it is to enact policy reforms and even to obtain public recognition for achieving them.”

“Over the next couple days, I’m sure there are going to be thousands of think pieces written about his legacy, but the only legacy that we have to remember is that he wasted thousands of young American lives, hundreds of thousands of Iraqi lives, and trillions of dollars for absolutely nothing,”
Imagine a world in which the Epstein Files are released shortly after Dems went full Roadhouse on the MAGAts in a mid-term election that seems to show vast swaths of America have decided they’re done with the KKKristofascists’ rule by plutocratic grift, incompetence and cultural tyranny…
Momentum can easily mean they’re headed for the cliff as increasing speed.
Remembering the many “drug boats” and “evil blood thirsty terrorists” blown to tiny bits by our president’s orders and his threats to invade Venezuela, Mexico and Nigeria. A “peace loving” guy he says…
He is once you look at the losses the GOP took in places like Mississippi, Georgia, Ohio and Pennsylvania. The Downballot has the goods:
Best one:
Cincinnati, OH Mayor
Democratic Mayor Aftab Pureval scored a blowout 78-22 victory in this nonpartisan race over Republican Cory Bowman, whose sole claim to fame was being the half-brother of JD Vance.
Vance having zero sway in Ohio is the icing on the cake.
NYT Pitchbot: After a stunning rebuke to Trump, now is the time for Democrats to trim their sails and find common ground with moderate fascists.
I don’t think they need to go so far. I’m certain Ron the Con can find room.
Oh what a friend they have in DeSantis.
On the other hand we could let him sleep, since indications are that tends to work in the Democrat’s favor.
“…the winner to be crowned at the draw….”
So fuckface gets a “Peace Prize” and a “Crown” from the world’s most corrupt organization. IOC, you’re next!
The Repubs are hiding behind the filibuster because they do not want to own the cuts to SNAP, the elimination of the ACA subsidies, and the cuts to Medicaid. They are trying to force the Dems to put their names on it.
I see they are putting lipstick on a pig again.
Mom says he’s smarmy. Not sure why. Maybe the hair? I’d vote for him. Or Beshear. Or the jew from Pennsylvania, even though mom says America not ready for a Jewish president.

they don’t want to appear to have lost to the democrats. Problem is, they’ve already lost.
Good news!
