I’d love to hear of trump sending some flunkie to a pet store for hydroxychloroquine. And then downing 600-800 mg as a “preventative” because some quack told him about it. And then we hear he has tinnitus, vision loss. balance issues etc because of quackery. and that’s assuming the dose doesn’t kill him outright.

Considering that we now have a rapid test for antibody we should have a rapid test for the virus as well by the ELISA (Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay) method.
IgM comes up in about a week from exposure to an antigen you are correct. The IgG type is slower (2 weeks) but lasts way longer.
