I see the point you’re making. But, really … I don’t know. Has he ever met a used car salesman? Has he ever bought a used car? Has he ever personally gone through the process of buying any car? He sweats when his hair infrastructure isn’t working properly (and possibly when he contemplates the many criminal investigations he’s under).

Just caught the last 15 minutes of “To Kill a Mockingbird”, starting with the scene where Jem and Scout get attacked. I haven’t watched this movie in decades. I only caught 15 minutes tonight, and yet there is more dignity portrayed by silent Boo ( Robert Duvall) than Trump has shown in his 75 years.
And yes it still makes me cry.

I would say that if Robert Duvall’s entire film career consisted of just that one scene where he looks at Scout with this bottomless tenderness, just that one shot, we would still consider him a legend.
