Because they’re defying the subpoenas into any of the materials, the only things that people have brought is their own testimony or things they privately had-- that’s how the chats, for example, came out.
Everything that’s on government phones/computers is locked down and they can’t bring it.
So it’s all Vindman’s word against their word right now, because they’re blocking all of the documentation which would support who drafted what when…

If they had any idea what they were doing, you would think they would wait until after his public testimony to blame him for this kind of nonsense.

If I remember correctly from Vindman’s deposition he stated that after the second call they had to edit the readout that had been drafted prior to the call (draft was based on the talking points that had been given to Trump for the call - most of which he did NOT talk about) to match what actually happened on the July 25 call.
So my guess is Vindman would NOT add stuff in that Trump /Zelensky did NOT say.
My guess is that he gave something to the White House and of course Trump had to add in corruption.

I guess there’s no country songs about how valedictorians do it, but it’s something about being smarter than their adversaries, working harder, taking notes and keeping their stories straight, something about not being bullshitters or fakes, something about getting results and knowing your own worth, and in the long run it tends to win out over chiseling grifters. The song is yet to be written but the story is well known in the coffee-achieving community.

I acknowledge the challenges. High-achieving students have never been a theme in country music. It awaits the “Coward of the County” treatment, but anyone who wants to recognize their patriotism has the field wide open and a runway cleared to land on.

These attacks on Vindman will not go over well. I’m surprised tRump or his inept lawyers don’t foresee that. I guess first-hand accounts really aren’t what tRump or his lackeys in Congress really want after all, because when he gets that first-hand account all he’s gonna do is go after the witness with that knowledge and try to smear them too. Kinda looks like more corrupt intent in furtherance of the original crime to me.
I love when these fools complain about first, second, third and fourth-hand knowledge too. WTF is third or fourth-hand knowledge anyway?
