An All-Ideologies Buffet A Supreme Court decision handed down Thursday had a little something for everyone, culminating in a rare 9-0 decision (with many a concurrence). United States v. Hemani stems from the horrifying experience of Ali Hemani, a dual U.S.-Pakastani citizen in Texas. Federal agents raided his family home in 2022, suspecting them of…
And he loved it.
This proves that none of these scumbags has any character. Greed is one of their major character flaws.
ETA. Sorry. They have many but greed is on top.
Loved it, and at the same time knew it was all self-interested BS. It’s why he’s so obsessed with grand architectural projects. Once he’s gone no one will mourn him, but if he can throw up some enormous marble heaps he can impose himself on future generations.
Does this mean the GQP majority in the Senate is finally willing to stand up to Der Pumpkinführer? I remain pessimistic.
He’s done such a great job with the reflecting pool - The Arch will blow down in the next tropical storm.
It will start leaning during construction.
Either
“Engineers, who needs engineers.”
or
“Even more famous than the Leaning Tower of Pizza!”
(His words, not mine.)
So if I read this correctly (IANAL), the DoJ now needs to establish beyond a reasonable doubt that someone’s drug use makes their possession of a weapon something the government needs to control. Of course, they never prosecuted Bubba for being drunk and shooting up targets on the gun range, but a MARIJUANA!!! user had to be locked up if they smoked a joint before going to the gun range.
This is the bullshit they prosecuted Hunter Biden for.
Also, couldn’t Hemani have just said, “Yeah, I used to use marijuana several times a week, but I stopped.” “When did you stop?” “A couple days ago.”
questioned how they could know that the legislators were motivated by racial intent versus partisan intent,
Because this is a racist country.
Headline: Besos and Zuckerberg are greedy sycophant losers - Trump’s asshole testifies
Appropriate response: that check out. It’s legit
And Justice Samuel Alito, joined by Justice Elena Kagan (!), joined in the part of the decision

Isn’t this so much nicer?
Like he imposed himself on teenage girls and other women - although not with anything as enormous or solid or strong as marble.
And those “tech guys” are still kissing his ass, which makes a lot sense considering it’s a huge ass and requires a lot of kisses to cover.
That presidentially selected (“At first I wanted turquoise. But then he said ‘I’ve got American Flag Blue.’ I said, That’s what I want!”) paint is already peeling off. Bwa ha ha ha ha.
It’s time to put up the big sign that reads “Future Home of the World’s Largest Suckermouth Catfish Farm” and feature a golden statue of Twittler clad as the Gorton’s fisherman (with an “Official Pleco Wrangler” badge) standing alongside an enormous Plecostomus.
If only there was a way to prevent this
Flu outbreak sickens nearly 160 US troops, 2 months after flu vaccine was made optional - pennlive.com
Less than two months after Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth made the flu vaccine optional for U.S. servicemen and women, an outbreak on a Texas air base has sickened nearly 160 people, The New York Times reported on Thursday.
The outbreak at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio surged through an Air Force Basic Military Training wing, where recruits live in close quarters, march in close formation and share meals at communal tables.
One recruit in his sixth week of basic training fell ill Friday and died, but it was not immediately clear whether the flu was the cause, the Times reported.
The Air Force told the Times that his death is under review.
Since Hegseth announced the policy change in mid-April, only 40 percent of Air Force trainees have opted to take the once-mandatory vaccine, the Times wrote.
Now the Air Force is requiring all recruits at Lackland to get flu shots.
Coprophagoussmile, your user name is remarkably a propos in this context!
Bring back the Iran War Cost Tracker. It was stopped at $113 billion on June 16 on the assumption that Trump had secured a ceasefire and settlement. Not only is there no deal, with Vance postponing his trip to Switzerland, shipping through the Strait of Hormuz won’t be moving normally until the mines are removed. With conflicts with Moscow now boiling up in Armenia and Chechnya, there is also the further disruption of the North-South corridor of international trade flowing out of northern Iran. Armenia, for example, may throw in with Israel and the US, but then expect more on the Russia front. We seem to be living in an Age of Odd Bedfellows.
Pretty sure Trump’s venture into aquaculture at national monuments would also fail. Tilapia, the ultimate ditch fish, still needs stable water temperature and chemical-free waters.
