It’s not the job of the media to debunk anything, it’s their job to gather as much evidence as possible to determine what the story is. From the very first line they make it clear all they are is a propaganda shop, working to undermine the Democrats by any means necessary.
I bet whatever they have gathered is worthless, forged, or cherry picked documents by people in Ukraine with a grudge, or who have been paid well to produce “information” for Trump. I bet we also don’t get their documents for independent analysis, or a chance to have their invetviewees testify under oath. It’s just a partisan hit job to build propaganda, and should be treated as the trash it is…too bad that for some Americans they will take it as their own Pravda.

The impossibility of putting the sources/actors under oath and forcing them to testify and be subject to our jurisdiction and laws, including criminal culpability for lying, is PRECISELY why the GOP has turned to foreign help rigging the elections, particularly corrupt government/former government officials…

They were always trying to do this, with stories along the lines of, “the CIA invented AIDS to kill off Black Africa,” but these things never made it past the gatekeepers and ended up in marginal media, way outside the mainstream. Now that the gatekeepers only operate in big media, you’re right, they can inject the poison directly into the bloodstream of the electorate.
