Lindsay warns Democrats this could happen to them. Except there’s no need to sic the FBI on Democratic candidates when POTUS can just use his Italian Roy Cohn and Republican members of congress to throw fake dirt around.

News flash to Mister Lindsay: the FBI, via James Comey days before the 2016 election, put its thumb on scale for Trump and the GOP. As a result, Trump, not Clinton, became president.
Additionally, maybe Mister Lindsay should explain why FBI agents who openly expressed anti-Clinton political bias still have their jobs.

It’s not even that the ‘plots’ failed, its that if there was a plot they took zero action to do anything, meanwhile there was multiple actions taken to help drump by hurting Clinton.

Sure - we all know that there were real actions taken against Clinton. I was looking at it from the other direction for a minute.
I’ve never seen people just try to present an alternate reality like the GOP is determined to do, and one that is so poorly constructed and so nonsensical as this one is. Just when I thought it couldn’t any more, the mind reels.

So real plots to extort fake scandals and fake plots to extort fake scandals and fake plots to extort real scandals - all big failures.
There was one real plot and it succeeded - the Trump-Russia plot to rig the 2016 election. All the other plots are noise they hope will drown out the real one.
