Elizabeth Warren expertly swatted away questions about her Native American heritage Thursday, showing that she has a good handle on how to deal with the controversy that her Republican opponent continues to attack her with. While Republicans questioned Warren’s family heritage over the last month and a half, some Democrats expressed concern that Warren’s handling of the situation showed how green she was. In an appearance on “Morning Joe,” however, Warren argued that if she didn’t have a perfectly slick response, it’s because she’s not a career politician.
