Warren Demands Dems Refuse to Participate in Budgeting So Long As Trump is Freezing Funds

The Dems poll numbers are in the shitter for NOT standing up to this fat fuck, but naturally the spineless weasels got the message backward and are busy tucking their balls as we speak.

Citizens United was the beginning of what may be the end of our great experiment in self governance.

Whether [Vought’s] interpretation prevails will likely be a decision for the Supreme Court.

Is there really a question for SCOTUS to decide when König PedofĂŒhrer is in charge?

I’m sure Schumer will find some reason to not fight back. He could have stopped the CR, but he is a craven coward. Dem leadership has been cowering since Reagan, either believing the country wants R-lite at best, or screwing their constituents at worst.

[OMB] Director Russell Vought has been the administration’s most outspoken defender on these issues, claiming that, per his interpretation of the law, the appropriations bills passed by Congress create a “ceiling” for the administration’s spending, but “not a floor.”

Per his interpretation??

Is he a judge? Is he a Constitutional scholar?

Well, I can’t say what I’d like, but I would think that real Americans don’t care about his interpretation.

She makes a great point. Trump has shown he will do what he wants anyway, so fuck him.

Senator Warren is 100% correct. There is zero reason for congressional Democrats to cooperate on budgeting when the Trump regime acts in bad faith. Moreover, congressional MAGAts also act in bad faith for allowing the Trump regime to refuse to abide by budget laws.

Honestly, it’s insane for Democrats in Congress to cooperate on anything whatsoever.

We are sleepwalking into an authoritarian regime.

It occurs to me that Democrats are afraid of losing. But Democratic voters aren’t afraid of losing. We won’t punish Democrats who lose a battle. We will punish Democrats who refuse to fight.

Fight!

Hey, Republicans, whose money is it?

Republicans should understand – leaving aside the who did what or who can do what – that they are all responsible for all of America now
the nation’s economic performance, the schools falling apart, the national defense cracking, the increasing alliance of allies against us, the suppression of all non-Christian deities, the institutionalization of hypocrisy.

Oh, and the greed.

There is now a report online that the FBI is investigating the SCOTUS. I don’t know who the target of the investigation is.

Agree. If I were Schumer or Jeffries, I would quietly make their GOP colleagues a promise. Either Thune and Johnson curb their Second Article dogs, (Trump, Vance, Vought and Miller), and return legislating to normal order, OR the Democratic Party will fully support the next Democratic POTUS, (who will inevitably get Executive power back), in his or her declaration that the GOP is an illegal, insurrectionist organization.

Further, they should promise them that the Democratic Party will support official Executive Acts invoking the Insurrection Act against the GOP as a terrorist enemy who has subverted the Constitution and systematically attacked the American people.

This is exactly what I’ve been saying. The Democrats need to make it clear that there will be consequences. Terrible, awful, legacy-ending consequences.
