Hey, TACO Tuesday just keeps getting better. Trump claimed he was extending his deadline by two weeks because he claimed Iran had agreed to the outlines of a plan that included a proposed ceasefire. But it turns out that — gasp — Trump is lying. Iran has not agreed to anything, and in fact cut off all contact earlier today in preparation for responding to the expected war-crime attacks by the U.S. The only “agreement” on the table is a mere proposal presented by Pakistan, not Iran — Iran hasn’t agreed to anything.
Trump is lying to cover yet another back-down/failure. It’s just more pure market manipulation.

And now Israel promptly ignores any alleged ceasefire anyway, and continues to launch strikes at Iran, so Iran is now retaliating against Israel. So that false hope lasted about what, two hours?

Dr. Gartner has weighed in on Trump’s disordered mental state a couple of times already. I would like to hear more from others with appropriate experience and credentials. In any case, with the president a nutcase, the solution is a political one, not a mental health intervention.
How can they say Vance (JD Vance, our vice president, right?) is against the war when he has defended everything that Israel has done and has spoken for the president in a number of instances recently? How is Vance displaying any desire to limit the president’s power to wage an unconstitutional war? If he is indeed hoping to limit the war, the only explanation I can think of is that he would hope not to be sidelined by his association with Trump from seeking the presidency himself, and not to be tainted with the warmongering of the Republican party which he has never NOT supported, to my knowledge.

Megyn Kelly is just another irrelevant right-wing entertainer, not someone whose opinion anyone would want. But while I’m on the subject, how insane is it for anyone to suggest that Tucker Carlson, a former right-winger employed by Fox “News” (and possibly Putin) and a prime source of irresponsible and fact-free political speculation could be a candidate for president? And how long can a Fox “News” promoter of megadeath in the form of the End Times continue to be the secretary of defense?
