That’s funny every time you post it. How does that work?

I’m sure his brow is almost as furrowed as susan collins’.

So now he claims he may take a shower? Clean up a bit? First impressions are lasting.

“He has his limits,” one of the sources said.

I’ll believe it when I see it.

Marketing. Purely marketing. Ignore what he says or leaks and only watch what he does. His resignation would kill his master plan to create an imperial presidency. Won’t happen. This leak is his effort to appear rational while undermining oversight.

Talk is cheap, Pal. Don’t let the trapdoor hit you in the butt.

This is all staged. Barr isn’t quitting. That thug has only just begun.

Barr Privately Says He May Resign Over Trump’s Tweets About Roger Stone Case

Even if he does resign, what’s to stop him and Trump from reversing it?

If he stops talking and actually commits, say, sepukku, then I might be convinced.

(1) Barr is a smug, conceited, arrogant individual who is now the Most Dangerous Individual in the United States. So believe only that he can speak English, nothing more

(2) Below is a post of mine from another thread, answering to an excellent post from @redhand regarding the Federal Judges who had called an Emergency Meeting because of what Barr represents

["This is a glimmer of hope (and I know the TPM Gloomies will JUMP on me).

It is a glimmer of hope because WMs and WFs (especially the latter) in the suburbs are in a position to understand what Trump is.

And notable people who are tightly connected with Fourth Estate, Education, Business and Commerce and the Judiciary have bent over backwards to behave as though Trump is an ordinary Chief Executive .

Although it has been painful to see, part of me understands why it was necessary. Trump was elected (albeit illegally…but is entitled to the legal process to defend himself) and it behooved all of the aforementioned institutions to give him the same treatment as any other person elected to be president.

But now, it is not a question of “being mean to the GOP”

It is a question of having separation of powers…of having three branches of government instead of one. And, if these aforementioned “notable people” do what they are supposed to, then we may survive. Beaten-down people still trying to survive as common citizens only works if there are social institutions which they can USE

And that was what Rachel Maddow was practically begging for, last night, when she had maybe her last interview with a smug (access journalist) bastard.

Who talked as though Barr was an ordinary boss of his staff and the DOJ in general. Visibly shaken, Madddow recovered enough to say,

“Lot’s more to come. Stay with us.”

But Rachel did not have “lots more to come”. She handed off to Lawrence with the same plaintive cry:

“There are no social Institutions which can save us.” "]

“I’m actually, I guess, the chief law enforcement officer of the country,” he said.

Wow. We’re really here, an actual Banana Republic, and Trump still has 40%+ of our mouth-breathing voters cheering him on. I can’t sleep at night thinking about how easily he could actually win reelection.

Yeah, sure. I might date Jennifer Lawrence.
