Thanks Obama.
As the story makes clear, the Republican Party’s ploy was explosed, but unfortunately the guy was NOT busted, in the legal sense. As someone else suggested, could he be disbarred if not put away in jail during the campaign?
claims he wasn’t acting in any official capacity when he called into a press call
The operative (no pun intended) word being “claims.”
‘Dick Licchzing has a long history with the repugnican party…’
Is that weight estimate “wringing wet” or bone dry?
Republicans lie; it’s what they do.
James O’Keefe would have dressed as a pimp before making the call.
In the Epstein case, we hear that maybe something more nefarious than suicide may have been involved in his choking. It is interesting to speculate that others than Trump may also want to silence this guy before he blabs. Maybe he has been using his pedo-knowledge to blackmail others that he provided children or something else in pedo-land that we can’t even imagine. Maybe Trump was impressed at first by the use of kids to gain leverage over rich or connected rivals?
Hey, Chris. Is Nick an attorney? It says in the story that he “served as an assistant state’s attorney and clerked for state Supreme Court Justice Lloyd Karmeier.” But I looked him up in the Illinois Bar directory and he’s not there. It’s possible they have some opt out provision for their bar directory.
In Oregon, this kind of impersonation is a violation of our ethics rules.
Transgression: Thy House is the Fiery Pit of Nihilism. All who enter there are destroyed.
Yes, he’s an attorney. When I first met him he was working with the St. Clair County State’s attorney’s office. I’m sure the impersonation is a violation in Illinois too. Nick is very tight with our former failure of a governor Bruce Rauner. Nick isn’t a bad person. He’s just completely consumed with the GOP platform.
Ha, it’s “wringing wet” while holding a can of Trump’s orange spray tan.
Someone should report him to the Illinois Bar then.
I would be willing to bet the trial attorneys out of the metro east in Illinois already have.
I’m confused about the last line reference to the Democratic primary. Does that belong when the discussion is about GOP dirty tricks against a Dem candidate?
OT
Kern Co. near Bakersfield, CA, where pollution goes to play. Coming soon to a Republican Congressional District near you.
https://weather.com/science/environment/video/massive-oil-spill-in-california-growing
An oil spill near Bakersfield, California, keeps growing and growing. About 975,000 gallons of fluid has now leaked to the surface.
This is McKittrick, CA, one of the ugliest places on the planet. The landscape looks like something out of a post apocalyptic video game. It looked terrible before the oil spill
Do you not see the disconnect you just described?
Republican ratfucking continues unabated.
The former executive director of the Illinois Republican Party was busted Wednesday for crashing a press call held by a Democratic congressional contender
I’d say this makes him as a good bet to take over the reins for Ms. Romney
