Amazing how white southerners are as dumb as they sound. Evolutionary U-turns.

For months, the Virginia GOP found itself mired in gridlock, with a minority faction refusing to acknowledge that it had lost key planning votes, keeping the majority from moving forward. Sound familiar?

Hahahahahahahaha!!!

(wipes tears from eyes)
Oh dear.

I really hope the base takes back the party from the 1%… that way there will likely be NO Independent or DINO who could support the nominees.

I wasn’t aware Narcissism is considered a medical condition.

Nice. Wait staff on roller skates serving hamberders. Crows swooping in to grab the scraps they throw out the windows.

The GOP demands bipartisanship from Democrats in DC, but can’t even do partisanship in Virginia.

In an unusual twist, the decision to go with a convention was aimed at reducing the power of the extremist candidates; usually, moderates prefer a primary to involve a wider swath of voters and boost more centrist figures.

Understated point, the GOP no longer trusts even its own voters to not choose crazy Trumpian candidates.

Rather than work to fix that problem, they forgo voting instead. Another example of the GOP abandoning Democracy when it becomes too hard.
