No kidding.
Mitch knows fool well how driven of farce Trump is when he has a perceived enema in sight. And he gets just how dangerous Trump is when he takes aim at a specific target.

Recall the debates - the GQP debates. Trump aimed for the strongest and destroyed him. And the next guy and the next guy and so forth. Even if B. BcConnell survives, he will come out scarred, maimed and a tad less powerful. Which is a very good thing for this flat earth.

I think that most of the apocalyptic predictions about next years midterms fail to take into consideration the Trump effect. Obviously this is hard to do since it’s impossible to tell how much Trump will hurt the GOP next year. Still, it’s obvious that he’s trying very hard to damage them and succeeding more often than not.

Whether he’ll continue to do this for another full year is an open question, but it appears for now that he has no intention of fading away anytime soon.

Not only does mephistopheles take your soul, but he also doesn’t deliver. This is what has happened to everyone who has tried to bargain with Trump.

While I’d love to see Hawley or Cruz take up Trump’s challenge, Mitch runs his caucus with an iron fist so I can’t imagine anything coming of this other than to make these cowardly traitors very uncomfortable
