BTW, I was reminded that Garland, Biden, Harris have not been forcefully speaking out against Trumpism. I consider this disqualifying for a 2028 presidential candidacy and a point strongly in favor of Newsom and Pritzker.

Only if N & P keep up the pressure. They can’t waver. We have entirely too much wavering in our leadership (looking at you, Walz, Ellison, Klobuchar, Smith, Ellison and anyone I might’ve missed).
We need some firebrands at the helm, willing to stand up to this and the ones I named aren’t cutting it. And I suppose I could add Jeffries and Schumer in that mess.
