Pssssst. NY-orican. That’s why he’s got such a problem with PR.

My guess is that “G” is RBG parody trolling.

Thanks. That makes sense given this guy’s preference for the Confederacy.

I don’t quite remember that scene. But, it probably didn’t help when Trump caught Melania ogling Macron every few minutes. But, as you might know, my brain is not fully functional. And, IMHO, all those in trump’s cohort are fuck-ups! Hard to tell them apart.

ETA: I can’t spell worth shit today. But—, not Nut.

Of course Johnson said and/or thought those things. He’s a Trump kind of idiot himself. This was the bit that caught my eye:

The US president wondered why there was so much “hatred” in Northern Ireland and asked Mrs May during a lunch why Mr Johnson was not prime minister

Just to be crystal clear, he asked that of Theresa May who was, at the time, the prime miinister. That’s beyond boorish and offensive.

And:

The president was at times “hectoring” towards Mrs May in “nightmare” phone calls and would ask other world leaders what they thought of her

My guess is that Mrs. May wasn’t able to be as strong and self-assured as, say, Angela Merkel and Nancy Pelosi, so Trump perceived her as weak and therefore went for the bullying and devaluing.

I hope he dies soon and painfully. I don’t go in for hatred, but I hate Trump.

Wilkie seems to think that “Anonymous” is a specific political group. He is apparently unaware that “anonymous” is a generic term, in the same way that Bill Barr is unaware that “Antifa” is (it’s an adjective, not a noun). These guys are not the brightest bulbs on this string on Xmas lights.

Looked him up and got this…

Military experience[edit]

Wilkie served in the United States Navy Reserve; he is currently in the United States Air Force Reserve, where he holds the rank of Colonel. His assignments have included Joint Forces Intelligence Command, Naval Special Warfare Group Two, and the Office of Naval Intelligence.

Wilkie is a graduate of the College of Naval Command and Staff, Air Command and Staff College, the United States Army War College, and the Joint Forces Staff College

It doesn’t say he was ever actually enlisted and he definitely never saw combat.

The high-level ones are conspicuous by their silence. Also not a good look for Trump. He’s stuck with working with what he has.

Look at the face of the guy! Doesn’t it remind you of the good for nothing kid in high school who sucked up to the class bully in high school to keep himself safe?

I am even suspicious that some of that mane is not even his. It belongs to his former NY doc, Harold Bornstein.

Yup. He was busy destroying DoD before he got promoted to destroying the VA via outsourcing.

This is the part that kills me. We’ve all heard him say out loud the bits regarding John McCain. That he reiterates the sentiment in private should not be either surprising, or controversial. That a jackboot spittle-licker whose entire enterprise depends on obeisance and studied ignorance refutes it by invoking “I know the military and the military doesn’t do such things”, rather than with a direct contradiction ( eg “I was there. He never said it.”), it’s just bluster and windfarts.

And yes, this is a dreadful headline, TPM team. You really should do better.
