This story illustrates an example of invisible white privilege that most of us white folk don’t even think about. White US citizens, when you travel around the country, do you make sure to have a copy of your birth certificate with you? I think I have a copy of my birth certificate, but I don’t have a clue where it is.

It’s all good though, because we just gave trump more money AND removed the leverage of the debt ceiling which they used multiple time against us. So way to go, useless Dems!!! I don’t know about you, but I’m really inspired to go work for the party that opposes trump so effectively.
In other news, trump shot someone on fifth avenue, and Pelosi expressed “concern.” That’s leadership right there.

That’s why the Bush2 Administration refused to show Bin Laden’s manifesto of the attacks (politically-economically based, though with a strong element of religious wacko-ism).
The BushCheney explanation: the attacks, by Saudis, were religiously based, but at the behest of Iraq -because they hated our freedoms.
Now Trump insists refugees are all criminals and terrorists, here to prey upon Americans and take all the great jobs picking produce and cleaning rich people’s houses (everyone knows poor white American women should be cleaning the Rich’s houses!)
Plus the refugees are dark skinned and will “outbreed” the Sacred Scared White People Of God. Therefore: starving them in concentration camps is TrumpMiller’s Holy Mission -blessed by White Jesus.

There was a funny story in “The Zoo Keepers Wife” about how a Secretary was helping Jews escape from the Warsaw Ghetto by providing forged documents. She hid everything in plain sight by keeping her office such a total mess of papers that no SS ever bothered searching it.

The idiots on “Naked & Afraid” usually lose 20+ pounds in the three weeks and they are seriously starving (and masochists), scrounging what they can.
So was MASH, but it also had a strong anti-war message.
“The Zookeeper’s Wife” is a good book, in case you’re interested. I am not sure that I could bear to watch the movie.
