Good for him.
I wish him good health, and that he takes this experience to heart and it makes an impact on his policy decisions going forward. It would make him a better leader.

Johnson, belatedly, grasped the seriousness of the pandemic. He no doubt totally grasps it now. In the United States of America, we are plagued with a president, an administration, and a party controlling the Senate that does not grasp the situation at all. Indeed, for the president, it is just another platform on which to practice and parade his malignant narcissistic personality disorder.

Glad he is out of ICU…
His recovery must be attributed to his idol sending over to him those MUCH NEEDED 200 ventilators!

Turning his back on a decade of political malignancy is unlikely, but sure, let’s hope. I also hope MLB returns and Cleveland wins its first title since 1948. Which is the greater longshot?

Wouldn’t have made much of a difference. St Thomas’s is one of the best possible places in the UK to be if you’re sick. Only difference would have been the security they had to add.
If he was going to die, he’d have died. If he could live, as apparently he could, he lives.

No, I think it was all the advise Trump sent to his doctors on the efficacy of Hydroxychloroquine. Now, if Johsnson fully recovers, Trump will expect him to publicly kiss the Trumpian butt with swarms of little love hearts flowing out of his face - even if his doctors had the good sense to not give him the stuff.

This is good news for BoJo.
It sounds like they worked hard to keep him off a ventilator. I have been reading that there is a growing consensus that the ventilator is a very, very last resort. Josh had a great post on how the treatment for Covid-19 is changing almost daily.

That’s too bad and yes, I realize he has a family, but f— him. He killed 1000s of people in his country due to misinformation and slow responses when experts the world over were telling him otherwise, he doesn’t deserve to survive when other’s couldn’t because of him.
