The Republican Party, which has been swallowed whole by President Donald Trump, supposedly won’t immediately throw its lot behind the ex-president if he decides to run again in 2024, Republican National Committee (RNC) chair Ronna McDaniel insisted on Wednesday.
”McDaniel told the Associated Press that the GOP ‘has to stay neutral’."
On one side, those who support cop killers who want to zip tie Congressional hostages, hang the VP, murder the Speaker, and hand over national-security secrets to Russia
On the other side, those who don’t.
It’s a real moral dilemma.
(Shorter Ronna: “Please don’t kill me and my family.”)
I know, it’s the deepest humor there is. Bewildering stupidity on the front-facing side (which is particularly clownish in that photo) and darkly insidious behind the mask (in this case, 42 pounds of make-up - which is what her talking points are too.)
She’s a liar. They are ALL liars. They promise, they wink, they lie. McConnell is over there fomenting a ‘filibuster’ right now and we have two democrats that think that is A-OK to put your racist face on. I am so incredibly pissed off right now…
I know it looks like T**** has a lock on the party right now but 4 years is a long time and a lot can happen.
Although I understand the fear of nothing changing in that respect, I do think such an attitude is a bit misplaced.
Who knows if he is even going to be alive after all?
Of course a bunch of other sycophants will still be around I know.
My prediction is that the 2024 Republican nominee may or may not be named Trump but will be like Trump an ignorant loudmouth lying racist xenophobic misogynist gay bashing flag waiving religious bigot and hypocrite who cares nothing for America or governing and whose only goal is enriching themselves.
In fact even though I do not gamble I am prepared to bet on it because it is no gamble.
I so agree. I was saying yesterday that time is a great thickener of things and I doubt that he is going to be any kind of kingmaker. I think his influence will wane steadily if the GOP can quit shaking in its shoes long enough to let it happen.
I think his niece, Mary, has him pegged on the question of whether he’ll run again. Her answer is that he will not run, because his fragile psyche will not allow him to risk losing again.
