One guy commits a henious crime therefore every other immigrant who had nothing to do with that criminal and his crime is automatically guilty as if they all had pulled the trigger. This is trump’s “thinking”.

Just saw this - apparently the US Government still has six months to file a valid indictment against Comey.
[Judge] Currie notes that federal law provides a six-month grace period when prosecutors file a flawed indictment just before the statute runs: Once that indictment is dismissed, they have six additional months to return a valid one, even though the ordinary deadline has passed. If Trump manages to ram through another U.S. attorney willing to bring these charges, they will almost certainly use this provision to try to resurrect the Comey case.

Yeah, but while that law might allow James’ indictment to be recharged, there are other obstacles.
First, with respect to Comey, the deadline to indict him expired in September, and it’s not clear this law can extend it.
But second, a future indictment of either will have to be brought by an interim US Attorney appointed by the EDVA district court. If that appointee is a rational attorney, his/her willingness to engage in this charade should not be assumed.

As I noted yesterday - the knee jerk reaction of one guilty soul leading to punishing the entire population may’ve started with the shoe bomber. Until earlier this year, some ten years later, TSA required folks to essentially disrobe before being allowed through the detectors.
Now that I think of it, a retort to ‘dressing better for flights’ oughta be, we’ll do that when you stop harrassing people to be scanned and disrobed.
You want more decorum in flying? Start there.

About 6 months after I had a total knee replacement we were going thru TSA security in Denver
Kid tried to gt me to take my knee apart. Until he saw the fresh 8 inch scar. He got queasy. The supervisior was no better but they let me thru.
