Mulvaney is a lying pile of dog shit and he well knows it. If he couldn’t see this coming it’s because he had his head so far up Trumpy’s ass.
His sabotage of the CFPB should be chained to his neck for eternity.
Is it possible to prosecute department heads who willfully undermined the stated mission of the departments they ran?
ETA no, you GD phone, plural nouns don’t end with apostrophe s.
What is so special about the 8-month mark 8 months ago? Is this reference to the start of COVID, which was 11 months ago?
What I think of any male who has supported Trump.
“their actions as the ludicrous egotism of the amorous ant climbing a cow’s leg and assuring her that he will be gentle”
From “Shibumi” by Trevanian
It’s like after the Iraq war went sour, WMDs weren’t found, and the coalition were not greeted as liberators. All the sorts of jackasses who insisted on changing the cafeteria menu to “freedom fries” suddenly “had not signed on for this” and “could not have seen this coming”. Puh-lease. Now Trump’s enablers will start claiming they opposed him all along.
On the lighter side, I do get a kick out of how stranded Rubio is right now. He’d be at the front of the line of lickspittles claiming they always opposed him…but picked the worst time imaginable to undergo a pro-Trump makeover…
Of course, they all were enablers. The Donald only hires yes men. He never wanted advisors, just people who would tell him what a great guy and an awesome genius he was. They were willing to do it for the fame and money. Well, they got it and now it wasn’t what they thought it would be. So sad.
Mulvaney told CNBC on Thursday that “we didn’t sign up for what you saw last night” and that Trump was “not the same as he was eight months ago.”
…
v.o: “previously on ‘The Donald Trump Show’.”
hits play
Why are you running down dog shit?
Oh C’MON…just wait until Mark Meadows starts dancin’…these jerks cultivated the Tea Party until they saw an easier mark with one Donald J. Trump…
July 2020
Mulvaney, DeVos and Chao, a bunch of rats jumping off a sinking ship, saying “No one could see the iceberg ahead”, and hoping to find a life raft that will take them in.
At least the Captain and crew of the Titanic had the decency to accept their fault and go down with dignity. Not these guys.
Nothing in the past month has been atypical of the monster we first saw in the primaries of 2016 and nothing said now will absolve enablers, of the ignominy and contempt that they deserve.
The fact that this may not even be over is deeply, deeply disturbing. Trump has corrupted the military and law enforcement to the point of ineffectuality.
Mick, Mick, Mick. Let’s review (forgive the paraphrasing):
“I won the election.” - Not true
“You can find the votes I need, can’t you?” - Not true
“If Mike Pence doesn’t do what we want, maybe I won’t like him so much.” - True
“Show up on January 6th. It will be wild.” True
“Let’s take a walk down the street and deal with them strongly, so strongly.” True
“I will be with you.” Not true
See anything trending? Not even slightly? You stoopid mugoon.
Even now, as we all knew would happen, he has learned the exact wrong lesson. That he can get away with anything he wants. I’m beyond frustrated.
The true reason Mulvaney stepped down as “Special Envoy” to Northern Ireland is the pubs were ordered closed.
Thread from Congressman Conor Lamb worth reading.
It might not happen (I’m not sure if they have recourse), but I’m looking forward to her estate possibly raking them.
“'I never thought leopards would eat MY face,” sobs woman who voted for the Leopards Eating People’s Faces Party
Mulvaney came on to make a show of his minuscule contriteness.
Then Wallace called him using the heavily abstract and theoretical idea that Trump’s similar actions in the past indicate a pattern of behavior on Trump’s part. Mulvaney, not an abstract thinker, couldn’t understand that continuing to approve of Trump’s past crimes and misdemeanors revealed his resignation was not about principle, but about expediency. Poor Mick, a transparent opportunist to the end.
