Crashlytics, a company dedicated to providing tools and reports on mobile application session crashes, on Monday announced it had been acquired by Twitter for an undisclosed sum. Crashlytics currently provides crash reports for Apple iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) and teases an Android version coming soon. The company will continue to offer separate products for mobile apps developers under Twitter’s wing, as co-founders Jeff Seibert and Wayne Chang wrote in a blog post about the news.
