Turns Out The White House Was Behind Ross’ NOAA Threats After All

Did anyone not know this the second an unsigned statement magically appeared on a Friday evening?

House Science Committee letter to Wilbur Ross:

“We are committed to supporting the activities of the NWS and its dedicated staff. During your Senate confirmation hearing, you committed to allowing federal scientists to ‘be free to communicate data clearly and concisely’ and that you would ‘not interfere with the release of factual scientific data,’ ” Johnson and Sherrill wrote to Ross.

Meanwhile, a new tropical weather system is brewing, and this one may actually hit Alabama.
(Trump will then claim absolution, er, vindication)

Rinse. Repeat.

What doubt?

So Donald Trump walked into a crowded theater and yelled, “Fire.” The difference between him and a killer is that Trump doesn’t even care about what happens in the ensuing chaos.

How about “abdication”? That I’d be willing to give him.

Another “of course the White House was involved” story that we readers of TPM or HuffPost or other center to left-of-center news site get to consume. Since I don’t watch Fox or visit their website, I am guessing there is Zero mention of this or similar damning stories. And isn’t it something like 30-40% of likely voters get their “news” from Fox that allows tRump to maintain his near 40% approval? Nixon could not survive when 3 national TV news organizations covered the WH. All 3 seemed committed to truth in providing the news of the day. Today, Nixon could possibly survive his scandals if Fox &RW radio/websites had his back. tRump’s behavior, grift, lawlessness, & Cabinet level crimes outclass Nixon by geologic proportions.
Most Americans were dealing with much the same information with 3 TV news sources. Now we have more information but far less consensus about Truth. Even Truth is weaponized to become “fake news” and far too many people fall for that. And it’s becoming exhausting for so many of us. Is Steve Bannon winning despite being long gone from Dotard’s administration??

Paging Bill Barr… (yeah, right).

LOL, no kidding. The light in Wilber’s wheelhouse burned out long before he joined the trump team.
And like all the rest of them, they don’t have an idea between them, much less a good one, they’re just putting in the hours and doing what they’re toad…I mean told.

This does not include Mulvaney or Miller, they’re just plain evil and driving the bus.

The video mash up of his tweets & video clips the past 3 years in a succinct timeline is going to be epic. I wish I had the time to, someone needs to get on that.

I suppose that’s why Trump has decided the feds have to intervene to clean up the homeless problems in California – wishing a hurricane would level us didn’t work for him. My only hope is that while he tries to kick Governor Newsom (who is taller, younger, smarter, etc) in the balls, the old duffer loses his balance and cracks his head on the sidewalk. It would be nice to have a respite from his constant instigation of whatever he thinks will hurt anyone he doesn’t like (which is our entire State).

I’d give you a hundred likes for this if I could.

And rumor had it he was hung like a horse.

I really want to see Mulvaney serving his sentence, in indenture. Under this section of the Constitution: “Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted”.

I think that guy could process dead chicken at a Tyson plant for a decade or so. Picking field produce would do, too. Raspberries, maybe, or cucumbers. You know, something with pointy vegetation.

Wilbur has lost a bit on his curve ball. And fast ball, slider, etc.

Wilbur has forgotten which player on the team throws those pitches (hint, Wilbur, just change one letter - the last letter - of the word before the parentheses), and there’s a good likelihood he doesn’t recall the name of the sport.

Can’t wait for the time in the future when all the Republicans deny being on the Trump train.
