Tulsa Reverend Is ‘Disgusted’ By Trump Campaign Rally On Juneteenth | Talking Points Memo

About as subtle as a strangulated hernia.

The rally is a celebration of himself.

Asked if his June 19 rally date was intentional, Trump says no, but he knows what Harris Faulkner is going to say (about Juneteenth), and we can “Think of it as a celebration. My rally is a celebration.”

It’s typical of Trump to hint at some disgusting thing he wants his minions to hear, to say it in deliberately vague language, and then deny he said it and deny he meant it to be heard that certain way. This is the same as lashing out at the Khans and all the others. It’s the sickening, horrifying rage of the malignant narcissist.

Wasn’t his father, Fred, a member?

This bullshit makes Reagan’s “State’s Rights” speech look tame by comparison.

I continue to hope and believe that he and his administration is circling the drain.

Emancipation vs getting one drug-dealing friend of a rich woman emancipated.

Sure, same thing.

Is it possible to bait Trump on this talk? Something along the lines of “It is so brave of Trump to go Tulsa and speak the Truth of that horrific Massacre to those who most need to hear that message, his supporters, and by so doing, begin the process of Reconciliation that Presidents Obama, Bush, Clinton, Reagan were unable to start. Only Trump, with his Best Words ™, could convince the hardest, most hate-filled hearts to soften, to recognize and repent for centuries of racial injustice. And to do it on Juneteenth, is the daring brilliant stroke of a Master Communicator ™, a high-stakes gamble that Trump, and only Trump, is willing to take in order to bring this country together.”

If he’s in the place I think he is nobody will need to bait him. He’s pushing himself into a state where he just makes it clear to every sane person that he’s not. These KKK games are just unthinkable, unheard-of.

I love this news about Alcindor. The more trumPP belittles her and so publicly the better she gets and never loses her cool.

Why Tulsa for his first rally in months?

More importantly, he expresses the idea that tha black community is all ingrates who owe him something. Everything is transactional for him. EVERYTHING.

The black community owes nobody a goddamn thing, not even…and perhaps least of all…forgiveness or thanks for contributing in any way to fixing the shit done to them.

Miller’s not going to tell him about this. He’s losing support among military personnel whose support he’s had forever, but they’re coming to their senses.

Because he can stick to the libs and the blacks in one fell swoop.

For any trumpite going to Tulsa they shouldn’t forget N95 mask (good luck finding one), hand sanitizer and a pen to sign the waiver in case you catch a germ.

Good News- the protestors who recently destroyed Confederate statues have investigated themselves and are happy to report no wrong-doing occurred.

I’m sure everybody is cool with that kind of arrangement.

Mentally ill, or just plain evil?

I’d vote for both . . . .in the extreme.

They don’t sell a product strong enough to sanitize a Trumpite over the counter.

Anyone else worried about the mix of Trumpsters, BLM related protests, and police/security for the events? I mean, what could go wrong, with Trump himself in the house with a microphone on stage? What we know for sure is that he can be counted on to be a reckless bully, and in what will likely be a volatile mix of protesters, racists, and militarized police he could live down to his potential to be the worst possible man for the moment.
