Trump's Top Officials Spent Wednesday Trying to Pressure Boebert

After weeks of delay by House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), Rep. Adelita Grijalva (D-AZ) was finally sworn into office on Wednesday afternoon. She quickly became the 218th person needed to sign a bipartisan discharge petition that will trigger a House vote on the full release of the files the Justice Department has on the Jeffrey…

The fat fuck is a child rapist. Four young women testified under oath years ago that he raped them when they were 12 and 13 years old. This is already known. This Epstein file horseshit is nothing but a stalling tactic by both sides to run out the clock. None of these so-called “elites” want us to know how many of them are disgusting fucking perverts or they’d be fucked.

… White House officials were reportedly working overtime on Wednesday to try to persuade one Republican who had already signed the petition to remove their name…

“THANKS FOR USING MY PREFERRED PRONOUN!”

“In one of the messages, Mr. Epstein flatly asserted that Mr. Trump ‘knew about the girls,’ many of whom were later found by investigators to have been underage.”

“I ‘knew’ about them only in the BIBLICAL sense!”

“Um, that’s a GOOD thing to say, RIGHT?”

The MAGAts have defended so much of the indefensible when it comes to Donnie, I really have to wonder if this is the point where they will draw a boundary. A cult is, after all, a cult.

But Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) and other House Republicans aren’t sympathetic to the rationale. While they aren’t demanding the language be stripped from the government funding bill — which would punt it back to the Senate and delay the reopening of the government — they are instead pressing for a future vote on a separate, standalone piece of legislation that would invalidate the provision.

“I PROMISE that I’ll vote for the standalone bill.”

This is the day that the Republican party was handed their final opportunity to turn on Trump, and they did not.

Every single Republican in Congress, except for a few who are terrible people for other reasons, is complicit in pedophilia.

Q was right, just not about who was involved.

Almost every Republican is a pedophile apologist. This should be the end of their party.

This is a big fucking deal.

Can’t wait to find out what the Trump equivalent of the Stennis Compromise will be.

If the Republicans want to regain credibility, they need to defenestrate Trump.

On the other hand, if Trump wants to avoid accountability, his best bet is a satanic bargain with JD Vance where Trump resigns and Vance pardons him.

If neither of these things happen, I don’t see how the Republican party or Donald Trump recover. People are not going to forget that he is a child rapist, or at least covered up the crimes of a child rapist. This isn’t going to go away over the next year. When Congress changes, more and more and more and more and more of this is going to come out. He can fight, but the harder he fights, the more rules he breaks, the further his fall will be.

Please proceed, Mr. Trump.

Folks have asked why Representative Boebert was brought to the Situation Room. The blogger emptywheel points out: privacy. Recording devices aren’t allowed there. Officials didn’t want anything they said there to be recorded and later shared.

The public won’t need a sheaf of incriminating emails or letters. As few as one or two or three will destroy the lump if they’re clearly pertinent and incriminating.
And I’m drooling at the thought of a photo.
ETA: As I’m writing this, Chris Hayes is showing that video clip of the lump and Epstein leering at the young women. Jr high school boys can display greater aplomb than these two.

I wish that were true. He could throw live babies into a woodchipper and his 33% would stand by him, asserting it was all manufactured evidence – you know, a “deep fake” or some horseshit.

I wondered why they were working on Boebert, a woman. One of the Epstein’s Victims variety of human beings. Why not select a softer target?

Then I checked the list of the Republicans who signed the discharge petition. Just four – three women! The only man who signed was one of the sponsors.
