House Republicans need to vote to stop me from further blocking and obstructing the release of all the Epstein files! I demand they halt my halting of the files. Thank you for your attention, etc., etc.
I’m waiting for Corinthians 2:16 to be invoked.
Trump enters the MAGA civil war on Tuckers side of course
Trump defends Tucker Carlson after interview with activist known for his antisemitic views
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) — President Donald Trump on Sunday brushed aside concerns about conservative commentator Tucker Carlson’s recent interview with a far-right activist known for his antisemitic views, which has caused a schism within the Republican Party.
Trump defended Carlson, saying the former Fox News host has “said good things about me over the years.” He said if Carlson wants to interview Nick Fuentes, whose followers see themselves as working to preserve America’s white, Christian identity, then "people have to decide.” Trump did not criticize Carlson or Fuentes.
And to my eye, Clinton is an inch or inch and one half taller, hair notwithstanding.
So…once we get the reins of power back, we MUST keep all the Dictatorial powers that have been slapped onto the Presidency for at least a while, so that we can use them to clean up the HUGE mess. THEN we need to force changes and controls that will make it harder to create an Imperial Presidency again.
Fingers crossed.
Don’t forget they brought disease up here.
Once the House votes for the release, it goes to the Senate. Any chance he’ll tell the Senate to vote for it? He won’t even need to worry about vetoing it.
Trump’s new position in encouraging the House to vote to release the Epstein files is of course a sham. One of three things is going on: 1. Since he directed the Justice Department to reopen the case to investigate democrats who may have been involved in Epstein’s crimes, he knows that Bondi will refuse to release the files in the end because there is “an ongoing investigation”; 2. The fix is in with the Senate, and the republicans there will not support the measure to release the files; 3. The Justice Department will scrub the files of any mention of persons they have deemed not to have committed any crimes so as to avoid “reputational damage” to innocent people, and Trump’s name will be scrubbed on that basis. Of course the possibility exists that no damaging information about Trump exists in the files, but that seems exceedingly unlikely given how hard he has tried to keep the files from being released and in light of what is already known about his relationship with Epstein at the relevant time.
I know it, you know it but I still fear 77 million voters don’t know it.
I still worry and what ever is left in my life I will worry.
He’s very self-effacing. So he often stands in holes.
A truly hermetic seal exists in theory only. Nature abhors a vacuum.
The proportion of people remaining in the FBI who care about the law is at an all time low. Any one of them could do this for any reason.
The victims cry out for justice, and this is the surest path to it. The leaker can redact their names if it gives them heartburn.
the demand to weaponize the Epstein case against Democrats will require a new level of Orwellian reality-denial by Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel
And they are just the two fuckwits to do it.
(I’m going to use the most hyperbolic, ridiculous, implausible example here that I can think of, and in no way am I insinuating ANYTHING like this ever did occur, so please forgive me, everyone. But I want to try to make the point as powerfully as I can.)
If Mister Rogers were involved in this somehow, welp, take him down, too (were he still with us).
I’m more than tired of it. Bill Clinton and his wife have been accused of everything under the sun and the ONLY thing they could ever come up with was that he got a blow job.
Being from Arkansas gives me a little more advantage than most because he was my Governor for ten years and I watched him come up. I worked in Hot Springs where he’s from and everyone there knew Bill’s mother. His Brother Roger, played at my Senior Prom, and I’ve talked to Bill about teacher issues in Arkansas as far back as 1986.
Maybe he did do something somewhere, but there’s NO evidence of it and I seriously think he’s not that stupid or depraved. It just doesn’t fit with what I know.
Richardson is on fire this morning.
At a Justice Department conference in February, then-acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove told the department’s top drug prosecutors that the Trump administration wasn’t interested in interdicting suspected drug vessels at sea anymore. Instead, he said, the U.S. should “just sink the boats,” according to three people present for the speech.
These guys really have a very thin playbook, don’t they?
PROBLEM: Too many people trying to immigrate without proper documentation.
SOLUTION: Use terror tactics (family separation, militarized border, cruel detention conditions, deportation to far-flung third countries) to scare people away.
PROBLEM: Illegal narcotics smuggling.
SOLUTION: Use terror tactics (blowing up boats and killing people with absurdly disproportionate military force) to scare people away.
PROBLEM: Citizens protesting against you.
SOLUTION: (Go ahead, try the next one yourself. It’s easy!)
They’re gonna set a new standard. I can feel it. The void-like eyes of the AG really speak to untapped capabilities in reality denial.
