I think the best the US can hope for is brief pauses in the decline and eventual fall of democracy. None of these fucks are going to be held accountable for anything as TSF/JD will pardon literally everyone in ICE/CBP/DoJ/the entire regime so they’ll still be around, salivating for the next chance, and after the Dems fail to fix everything in two years, the goldfish electorate will hand the Senate and House back to the same fuckwits who broke it initially.
Senate will never get to 60 Dems and even if they get a majority, there are enough turncoats to keep the filibuster. A bunch of them are still voting for all the Federalist judges that are being nominated, it’s staggering to me - maximal resistance and screw “comity” if TSFs regime is nominating them, they are partisan hacks.

Excellent point - and one that haunts me every day.
This is not a minor sprain. It is a full blown bone cancer that is going to require amputation followed by extensive chemotherapy with zero guarantee of success. In other words, we are really and truly fucked. Some of my friends are acting like a victory in November is all that is required to fix the nation. I am afraid that the people who actually have almost all of the money, power and media have different plans.
