I wish that it were possible to get a good estimate of the number of DOJ attorney hours (to the extent the work there is being carried out by lawyers and not by paralegals, interns, secretaries and AI) wasted on litigating frivolous, stupid cases brought by the maladministration.
I almost said that I wanted an estimate of the value of those hours before realizing that the actual value is close to zero because their work is pretty much worthless shit.

In both the executive orders and the letter, Trump is making his sentiment clear. This Court exists to help him achieve his political ends; any deviation from that supporting role will be met with public criticism and a war of attrition to wear down the right-wing holdouts into complacency.
“You were right. We’ve won so much, we’ve gotten tired of winning. Please, please. It’s too much winning. We can’t take it anymore, Mr. President, it’s too much.”

Ever since he met Roy Cohn, Trump has followed the Cohn playbook: always attack, never admit defeat, don’t bother with facts, never pay the invoice. It’s who Trump is and always will be, from stiffing contractors, to bankrupting casinos, to imposing tariffs, to assaulting women, to attacking immigrants…he never gives up.

Since when has trump taken “no you cannot do that” as an answer? Either personally or legally?
It is decades past time for his comeuppance. He needs to be impeached and removed for trying to rewrite the 14th amendment with an EO thereby breaking his solemn oath of office. He said he would “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution” He lied in public by his two EO’s. Once removed he needs to be tried for the deaths of the 100+ men his Navy has killed without arrest or trial in the Eastern Pacific and Catibbean Seas. Then put in prison for the rest of his life.

There is a creepy network of resource and financial sector extractors that have emerged from under the rocks in the Trump era. A good example is this crypto-finance-oil-Florida guy seizing the moment with Trump’s unilateral disruptions of what until recently were glutted oil & gas markets. Seizing Greenland will not go over well with the rest of the world, but things have become so crazy and corrupt in the US, it’s a Larry Swets environment.

Texas Children’s Hospital has 90 days to open ‘detransition clinic’ under terms of settlement | FOX 7 Austin
Texas Children’s Hospital has just a few months to create the nation’s first “detransition clinic” to reverse gender transition care, according to a settlement finalized with the attorney general’s office.
Under the terms of the agreement, the clinic must be opened within 90 days and its services must be provided for free. The settlement was first announced in May.
The hospital will also pay $10 million, with more than $8 million going to the state, to resolve claims they billed Texas Medicaid for illegal “gender-transition” interventions. They will also pay $1.7 million to whistleblower Vanessa Sivadge.

The hospital must promote the detransition clinic on its website and, once established, must provide detransition care at no cost to patients for five years for anyone who had previously received gender transition care.
In addition to the clinic and monetary penalties, the hospital must permanently revoke the privileges of five doctors associated or previously associated with the hospital from working at the hospital.

Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito says he will continue deciding cases based on his interpretation of the law rather than any perceived alignment with President Donald Trump or public expectations about the High Court’s impartiality. In an interview with The Wall Street Journal , Alito rejected the notion that he should alter his judicial approach simply to avoid appearing politically aligned with the president or not.
