The scariest quote from this story is “You’re just a faker.” That hints of even more of a cognitive decline, imo. That, and being described as “struggling to speak”.
Won’t someone stand up and say that the emperor has no functioning brain?

Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen: “Greenland is not for sale. Greenland is not Danish. Greenland belongs to Greenland. I strongly hope that this is not meant seriously. It’s an absurd discussion.”
Chiselin’ Trump: “I thought that the prime minister’s statement that it was absurd, that it was an absurd idea was nasty. I thought it was an inappropriate statement. All she had to do is say no, we wouldn’t be interested.”
Frederiksen: “I was just being sarcastic.”
“One of the heads of the Beast appeared to be fatally wounded, but the wound was healed and the whole world was astonished and followed the Beast…on Twitter”
Because Dumbfuck Donnie is such a genius when it comes to finance we are going to reinvest all our money in what ever he says.
Isn’t it great to sit around and wait for the next inevitably mortifying and horrifying thing our “president” says all the time? Especially when he’s on the world stage? He’s not due to give a speech, dear god, is he?
I don’t think he, himself, can tell either…
I got the impression myself that he was joking in that exchange, but a Trump joke is often not the joke of a normal person. His jokes sometimes are used to introduce an idea he knows people with conventional views of reality do not accept. He often “jokes” about serving more than two terms, for instance. It’s not a conventional joke. From a medical professional writing anonymously to “The Atlantic” back before the election:
Trump is aware that there are other views of reality than his own. The narcissistic project is to argue, charm, bully the world into accepting his view of reality, including but also going beyond his grandiose view of self. Insisting on this view leads others to mistake his aberrance for lying.
His tone is superficially joking. But his intent is to introduce this idea. It’s like some sleazy guy joking with his girlfriend about threesomes. If she’s offended, jeeze, he was just joking. But he’s sounding her out.
I thought it was in the range of 15 billion votes!
I note than Jar Jar isn’t at the G7 … she was such an embarrassment at the G20, trying to muscle in on conversations she’s totally unequipped to participate in, perhaps someone thought it might #BeBest if she sat this one out.

It was a kajillion.
This is analogous to him saying he should be President for 3 or 4 terms (basically for life). After the first time he said it, he said it was a “joke”, but he’s said it at least a half-dozen times by now -I’ve lost count.
No one tells the same unfunny “joke” to the same audience that many times. I feel like the proverbial frog in the boiling water. That we’re supposed to gradually accept that idea.
Of course in real life the non-proverbial frogs say “whoa, this water’s getting hot” and jump out. #let’sbesmartasfrogs
When your fart brother who drinks too much and suffers from terminal immaturity runs around saying stupid shit, everyone nods their head and gives each other a look saying “there he goes again” - no words required. When he goes too far, his inevitable excuse is he “was just kidding”. He is a bundle of insecurity and everyone hopes he will grow out of it some day.
When the president of the U.S. runs around saying the first thing that comes into his head, stock markets crash and wars get threatened. People die.
Oh Donnie…it may have been ‘sarcasm’ but it’s NOT ‘fake news’ and nobody but YOU is the ‘faker’. You said it. OWN it.
"And the question like that is just fake news. You’re just a faker.”
With a minor spelling tweak that pejorative fits you also, Donnie.
I rewatched Trump’s comment about being “the chosen one.” There was nothing sarcastic about it. He looked toward the heavens and explained “I am the chosen one.”
Not as God’s representative on earth, though. This was in the context of his talking about the trade war with China. He complained that past presidents had allowed China to take advantage of the US, that he “was the chosen one” to be tough on China.
I think he chose himself for that job, though.
Joking? We are not laughing. Know why, Dumb Donnie? Because first, it was NOT funny. Second, because every time you open your butthole, you are lying. Lies are not funny.
“It’s” is a contraction, not possessive. The “it’s” in the second sentence of the second paragraph should be corrected to “its”
They really need to get his meds adjusted.
It might be useful if he would tell us at the time that he is joking, and not wait to read the reviews before deciding.
