Trump Uses Leak Probes to Target Press Freedoms

I really, really struggle to find any sympathy for Comey, the poster boy for the Leopards Party.

I don’t want to see TSFF using the DoJ to go after people, but if it had to be someone, he’s a good choice.

With his reflecting pool inanity, the hideous doors to nowhere ballroom, his desire to take over a public course in DC, and his “interior decorating” at the White House, Trump is obviously attempting to re-create a bizarro world version of Mar-A-Lago in DC. We are all watching in fascination as his brain melts like the Nazi’s face at the end of Raiders. What a long, strange trip it has been indeed.

I picked a hell of a timeline to give up drugs and alcohol.

Heather and Paul are particularly upsetting me today. It’s finally reached 50 degrees, and I’m out to the garden. (Last two nights the temps have fallen into the 30’s. No 30’s in the forecast for the next 10 days, though we shall see.)

Do you think the word karma ever floats through his self-righteous mind?

Pay attention to what they say is important…like RFK Jr. babbling all the mindless health fad “protein diet” and “caveman meat-eating diet” nonsense. It will tell you what they plan to take from the people they don’t consider people.

This is by far, the kindest theory, by my estimation.

He’s practicing on this “reflecting pool” because he is greatly expanding his statuary garden to include reflecting pools as well as a large amphitheater, cafes and whatever else he can put there. He’s expanding the size.

Trump wants to build the statue garden in West Potomac Park, which is already home to the national memorial for Martin Luther King, the assassinated civil rights leader who will also get a statue. The park also features a memorial for another statue recipient, former president, Franklin D Roosevelt.

If he expands enough, he can bulldoze the MLK memorial and just put up the statue. Same for FDR. I mean, they’ll still be honored, right. He’s blown through all the millions allocated and he hasn’t gotten a single statue yet. So, we’re starting another massive fundraising committee. Let the grift flow!

Oh, and East Potomac Park is where “his” golf course is located.

I buy all my pork, beef, and chicken from local farms. I know where it comes from and that it is safe to eat. Also tastes better than the stuff at the supermarket.

“Both parties deprecated war but one of them would make war rather than let the nation survive, and the other would accept war rather than let it perish. And the war came.”

We must accept the new reality and go scorched earth on all Trumps actions

TSF previously floated importing Argentinian beef, much of which, IIRC, does not pass the USDA health and safety requirements wrt parasites, bacteria, and filth. Such a deal we got for you!

From the WSJ -

The Trump administration also plans to direct the Small Business Administration to increase loans for US ranchers, while reducing some laws surrounding protections for endangered wolves and ear tag requirements, the Journal reported. The US Department of Agriculture last fall also announced a plan meant to loosen regulations, including on grazing access, to boost supplies.

The US cattle herd has shrunk to a 75-year low

And why are they at such a low? Since there is no climate change, it can’t be because of ongoing drought conditions along with higher prices that are hitting everyone else. No, not at all. And at least some of the soy bean farmers got a cash handout, they’ll just increase loans to US cattle farmers. Oh, and make it cheaper to import beef.

Yeah, that’s it, that’s the ticket.

Same here. I actually know the name of the farms my butcher buys from and that of the farmer. It costs more but it’s worth it.

LOL. Could it be more obvious? Build a garden of statues of “great Americans” and include himself so that he is “forever” elevated to their level despite being the single most horrible piece of shit to ever set foot on our soil? Everything he does now needs to be understood through the added prism of him desperately seeking immortality as he knows time is rapidly running out. It was always there before, but the quest has become febrile.
