Trump Tries To Thwart Last Remnants of Court Cases Against Him

Actually Utah is the state with the largest percentage of Danish-Americans. A straight-up trade of Utah for Greenland is something I would think about, as long as permanent exile for Mike Lee was included.

With sentencing scheduled for 10 days before his inauguration, all Trump really needs from the high court is enough of a delay to push sentencing past inauguration. That alone wouldn’t resolve the nagging issue that a jury found him guilty of 34 felony counts back in May, in a verdict that still stands. But it would be enough to allow him to avoid sentencing, to avoid having a formal order of conviction entered against him, and to set up the high court to dismiss the case at some point down the line.
… … … …
Bolding mine…
8 months screwing around with no sentencing. EIGHT FUCKING MONTHS
It stinks of kid glove “don’t wanna piss off donnie” treatment. He shoulda been 4 months in jail and fined.
As it is Merchan is allowing donnie to appear remotely. Now don’t get donnie riled up by demanding he show up in court

Cheating on each of 3 wives repeatedly. Even two different porn actresses while married to wife number 3. Crappy dad, thief in that he stole documents breaking 3 serious laws in the process. Bragged he could get away with murder on 5th ave NYC. Busted and convicted in civil court for sexual assault. Next I could recite his criminal wrong doings. This is not, I submit the behavior of a devout Christian. He does not attend church preferring to golf instead.

He was cheating on his long-term porn star affair partner with Stormy Daniels. Can’t even be faithful to his mistress. Yet he’s a man of the Lawd!

That behavior is utterly foreign to me. Been married once only. And still. I’m a proud dad & grand dad. trump is a convicted criminal

“… which matters more? The jury’s verdict, or Trump entering office?“

That all depends on whether America is really “a nation of laws and not of men” or not? The answer is TBA.

But the smart money is on a nation of men, all GOP in control.

I vomited out the window of a taxi on the streets of Copenhagen when I was 11 years old. (Beautiful city).

Driver was ticked cleaning off his cab. Mom said he should be happy I got my head out the window in time. A case of strep throat, I couldn’t help it. Was a long plane ride home.

As a parting shot, Biden should test presidential immunity by releasing the Smith report if no one else will. I doubt Milquetoast Merrick will. He has NFLTG at this point.

“We did not discuss the emergency application he filed today, and indeed, I was not even aware at the time of our conversation that such an application would be filed,” Alito told ABC News. “We also did not discuss any other matter that is pending or might in the future come before the Supreme Court or any past Supreme Court decisions involving the President-elect.”

This asshole Alito think we suck our thumbs. But yes the fix is in.

The credibility of his Court among the majority of Americans is slim and none.

More than half of Americans (56%) now disapprove of the Supreme Court, saying they trust it either “a little” or “not at all” to act in the best interest of “people like you,” according to the nationally representative panel survey conducted in July and August 2024.

President Biden (FSM bless him) has shown that he will play by the rules 99.99% of the time as long as his opponents do the same. If they frack him over or harm his family he will give them the middle finger (see Biden, Hunter).

In the face of a partisan Supreme Court willing to subvert the law to protect the Don the convicted he must order the DOJ to immediately release the Smith report volumes 1 and 2 no matter how the 11th Circuit Circus or the 6 Justices Operatives rule.

Has anyone else found that reading the document that the lawyers for trump’s former co-defendants filed was filled with repetitive statements?

They kept on repeating their argument over and over again. Isn’t once enough?

The base principle in the Trump Rules of Criminal Procedure is “Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth.”

Alito’s next all expenses paid vacation is going to be, in the words of Gorsuch, one
“for the ages.”
