It isn’t stalking, when the president does it.

This entire situation with Jabba-Trump and his legion of self delusives is epic in the annals of American democracy. It has become a Frank Capra dream come true.

Question: is impeachment the only recourse for his being held accountable for a federal crime? Can he be indicted beginning at noon on 20 January for whatever crimes commited while in office?

Back of my mind I’ve occasionally wondered about that early meeting that he had with Putin, after which he directed the translator to delete/destroy the translated record. That translator ought to be called to testify before a Congressional committee, relate exactly what he/she can recall.

Legally, yes. Historically, it has never happened, and morBotus is not the first corrupt ex-president this country has seen. Not even in our own lifetimes.

I was struck bu the symmetry with Trump’s interruptions of Joe Biden during the first debate.

Trump trots out his list of different kinds of “fake” votes and as Georgia officials begin what seems like a point-by-point response Trump interrupts them and begins complaining again. It went downhill from there.

We shouldn’t get lost in the weeds of the call. The plain truth is the President of the United States called the official responsible for overseeing elections In Georgia and demanded that the election results be falsified.

He should have continued avoiding the calls and done what the Republican governor of Arizona did, and send Trump’s call directly to voice mail. On live TV, no less.

Let it sit there along with the other junk messages offering an extension on your car warranty, and lowering your credit card rate.

Yes. I suspect that the Zelensky call was very similar to this call…

We need to get a tailor into the Oval Office ASAP and get Trumpy measured for a custom orange jump suit.

Mark Meadows and Cletus Mitchell should be fired. They should be the ones who committed the crimes. Instead they stayed as accomplices and co-conspirator while letting Skanky Turdface commit the crimes on his own.

So when is Mark Meadows going to be indicted>? Why isn’t he under arrest already? He is not the President. He has no immunity.

Aee they waiting for him to get a Medal of Freedom as well?

And he has done everything he could as Sec. of State to make it harder for those people to vote in Georgia. This man is an ideologue but in this instance he shows some integrity and independence from the wretched excesses of the bloviating bully.

I think we finally found a textbook case of “Presidential Harassment”

Be best.

O but then we wouldn’t have this call and all the potential it has brought: to upend the senate runoff races, to make it harder on Ted Cruz and the seditionists, to possibly see the fat fuck indicted for election tampering attempts.
