Biden will appear in an ABC town hall, and the Orange Buffoon has managed to beg, bribe or blackmail his way into a town hall on NBC. Both events are scheduled for 8 p.m. ET.

The earlier town hall that Trump did solo was pretty bad for him as I recall, he can’t treat voters like he does reporters or Biden. If he does he’ll just look like a jerk

Trump’s will probably get higher combined ratings across MSNBC, NBC, etc, and all we’ll hear after from Trump is how he beat Biden in the ratings. We don’t have cable, but I’ll make sure to stream Biden via youtube at least (not sure if streaming will get counted).

A little odd that no details of this PCR test (one only?) and dates not independently released, after NBC supposedly insisted “Trump produced a Covid-19 test showing he is not contagious”.
I trust Fauci and Lane, but let’s face it: the WH as fast and loose with throwing out names and results out of context.

Is their an actual test for whether someone is contagious? One that certifies no one coming in contact with a previously infected person has no chance at all of contracting the disease from them now?

1 ) i told someone that i wouldn’t be surprised if Fauci lent his name to this. I also wouldn’t be surprised if we learned that Fauci was lied to, regarding his signature.
2 ) re: Fauci, today is 10/14/20 and now would be a great time for him to say adieu to that sh-- show.
The last Trump townhall with Stephanopolous was a disaster. He will walk all over Savannah Guthrie and audience members. Hunter Biden will be his answer to every question posed. He will lie throughout the event. I will not watch. NBC is doing a disservice to voters.

That’s exactly how I see it too. I’m going to be really interested to hear what the evening MSNBC hosts have to say about this one. I imagine that everyone from Nicolle Wallace to even Brian Williams are pretty ticked off about this one. It sounds like yet another idiotic Chuck Todd capitulation for access.

I’m taking bets on how hot Chris Hayes will be as his show airs in the same time slot over on MNSBC. I doubt he’ll want to be pre-empted for this. He can be pretty darned forthright when he wants to.
