Trump Threatens Elon With Monster of His Own Making

Never said anything of the kind. Said you can’t win elections by calling 60% of the country racists whether they are or aren’t.

I asked you two questions, you didn’t try to answer either. I answered yours, and put up with some shit from you while doing it.

I realized this was as close as you were gonna come to answering my question, and I didn’t feel like talking anymore.

Yay! One whole time, while also crying nonstop whenever she dares to say anything against… what was your demographic again?

I know, it requires actually reading it.

Actually, no, I just went out to catch a movie. Sorry, ScarJo’s hotter’n you. :stuck_out_tongue:

That’s lovely and all, but again, the people getting all pearl-clutchy about the language you’ve consistently ranted against? They’re not gettable. They’ve made up their minds, usually decades ago.

‘and then cry when people do it because it might offend the MAGA voters who’re gonna suck his dick no matter what we say!’

Yes, they do. But they also need to be genuine, and they need to give voice to the dissatisfaction of the masses as much as their hopes.

Do you not even notice how this describes your own posts attacking both elected Dems and posters here?

And you fight to convince people you’re right, rather than trying to waffle around and find a message that doesn’t offend.

Right now? Soon-to-be-deported, just like the Iranians who voted for him.

You’ve got a fine recipe for losing elections in THIS country, with these demographics. I don’t like the situation here, or this electorate much either. If your version of campaigning has to work at not being offensive…you are in the wrong business.

Most everything we are talking about here isn’t about virtue or what our core values are…it’s about winning elections and enough majority to actually get something done. You want to keep hammering about principles and why we can’t get off our high horse because you feel it would be ceding ground. But elections are the opposite, you have to draw people in and have them want to join you. We have the electorate we have, now deal with it and stop making me your whipping boy because you wish it were better.

Well, then it sounds like you’re in the wrong business, since you’re the one focusing on not being offensive.

My version of campaigning includes saying what you mean, making the case for what you think is right, and making no apologies for not taking shit from anyone.

That’s how you draw people in. People aren’t drawn to timidity. They don’t gravitate toward careful, mincing politicians who are afraid to upset people. People are drawn to confidence.

That’s how you make the electorate better.

A minor rain already had them flooding electric cables. Not clear how or whether they passed any building inspections.

You give the Con Six far too much credit. The are not afraid of the First Felon – although they would be wiser if they were – they are in cahoots with him.

We’ve moved to Costa Rica. We told ourselves in early 2024 that we’d leave the country if a certain candidate won the presidency. In 2024 we spent a small fortune on supporting candidates up and down the ballot. We like Costa Rica a lot, there is something very pragmatic about the way the country is run and organized. Still, packing up and leaving is only feasible for a few, and most of our friends and contacts aren’t going anywhere. We intend to continue the fight - for an America that can defeat fascists rather than act like them, for an America that properly values its minorities and the diversity of background of its people. It’s a fight we’ll be engaged in from our new place and our new community and our new country.
