Treason is any attempt to overthrow the government or impair the well-being of a state to which one owes allegiance…

Doesn’t work that way. If the House is supposed to elect the president, then simultaneously the Senate elects a vice president. If the House fails to do their job, then veep becomes acting president.
They rise from the grave to vote early and often.

I hope this doesn’t offend anyone, but I am starting to hate stories saying Trump may engage in a coup d’etat and refuse to acknowledge Biden winning.
He won’t. Trump will whine and lie. Biden will ignore him (other than saying Trump will be frogmarched out of the White House if he tries to stay past Noon on January 20, 2021).
Trump will leave before the inauguration. He will, in contrast to legitimate presidents, not attend Biden’s swearing in. Trump will hate tweet, lie, and froth at the mouth from Florida but no one will care. The only concern will be the new AG preparing criminal indictments against Trump.

He is telling you exactly what he is going to do; He will lose by a landslide, but since it will take several days (possibly weeks) to count all the votes, he will use that time to attack the entire election as “Fraud” and claim it was all “illegal aliens and dogs and dead people voting against ME.” and then demand “his people, the tough people, the Cops, the Bikers, the Evangelicals” rise up and protect his legitimate claim on the Presidency. There will be a smattering of violence in some dark red states, and the likes of the “Boogalo Boys” will kill some people, but ultimately fail because they are all cowards and losers.
No matter WHAT happens, Trump will still have 50 days in office after Nov. 3rd, and will use that time to;
- Destroy anything that is left of Democracy in service of Putin.
- Try mightily to foment Civil War to remain in power.
- Pardon everybody in his family, all his cronies, and DEMAND that AG Bill Barr arrest Joe Biden/Kamala Harris for “Treason!” (Even Barr is not THAT stupid.)
- Sell as many pardons to the highest bidders as he can.
- In late December, after his “Civil War” declaration fizzles out pathetically, he will resign the office, have Pence pardon him, and slink away in the dead of night on his private jet to UAE/Dubai to set up his “Trump TV” with UAE, Israeli, and Saudi investments supporting it.
Bet money on it.
