Watched a bit of Obama in Florida going after Trump and Kushner today. (MSNBC- Nicolle!)
He was definitely enjoying himself as he got in one zinger after another. Apparently, Trump was watching and tweeting.

I think it’s worthwhile just to echo the headline and goggle a little bit at the way the GOP candidate for president is choosing to spend that most precious of campaign resources, his time, as the last week unfurls. Whining about his petty grievances is obviously the highest possible priority for him right now as the pandemic enters its third peak with still, all these months later, no coordinated national effort to mitigate it. ln the by now well-worn phrase, it’s shocking but not surprising. Shaking my damn head.

I just read the NYT article and wanted to throw up when I read this.
Camila’s mother, brother and a sister also spoke on Tuesday, telling the judge that Mr. Raniere destroyed their once close-knit family. The father and oldest daughter in the family — who had a child with Mr. Raniere — are still supporters of him. Mr. Raniere had a sexual relationship with all three sisters in the family.

O it was bad - a lot worse than I even imagined. One of the witnesses was 15 when he started sexually abusing her.

He already said he’d withhold aid from Pennsylvania because he says the governor didn’t help him find a rally venue. He said this while in Pennsylvania, campaigning there because it’s vital he win–anyone? That’s right, FUCKING PENNSYLVANIA. This is not real campaigning. This is acting on not a rational campaign goal but a self-destructively severe personality disorder.

John Heilemann nicely pointed out that if Trump really was trying to attract African-American voters, sending his moronic son-in-law out to spew his garbage about success seemed, um, counterproductive.

Big News!!
The Biden campaign has announced a three-day bus tour in TEXAS, starting tomorrow in Amarillo, Lubbock, Abilene, Fort Worth, and Dallas. Congress-members, elected officials, Democratic candidates, and special guests will be part of the tour.

It has to be demoralizing to the few professionals involved in his campaign to watch him do what he wants regardless of what they might think. All the while he is probably telling them he’s an expert who knows more than they do because he won in 2016.
Let’s all just hope this really does turns out the way we all want it to (think it should) next Tuesday.
