not qualified. He’s not mentally qualified to be attorney general,” Trump told Attkinson.

Kind of like having Medusa say you have ugly hair.

The message they’ll get is that Sessions didn’t debase himself enough.

Thats an insult to nuts. He is the biggest willful jackass to ever occupy space. And his enablers are a very close ( as if he stops short you know where their noses are) second.

Most employment classes of any size contain a continuum of of intellectual ability. Are you disqualifying Tuberville because of a generalization about the profession?

Almost tempted to send money to Sessions.

Seems little doubt in my mind if he won the nomination that Donnie Dumbass would push for a 3rd party candidate, thereby setting the stage for another improbable Doug Jones win from a second GOP own-goal.

I’d say do it - but then you’re inundated with conservative spam and mailings. Like… forever.

Trust me.

Just in case there was any sliver of doubt that Trump not just expects, but demands, the levers of government work solely on his behalf, and not on behalf of the rule of law or the American public, it couldn’t be clearer now.

Sessions’ mistake was not understanding that fact quickly enough. He actually thought he could follow basic rules of good governance, and that locking up immigrant kids and harassing people of color would inoculate him from Trump’s wrath. But rule number 1 is Trump is for Trump and you better be as well.

No, because he’s a Republican endorsed by Trump and Orangetweetz made intellect an issue.

After praising both acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grennell and the newly Senate-confirmed John Ratcliffe as “superstars" …

I have looked this up in Merriam-Webster: The Trump Edition:

superstar (noun; plural superstars): 1. lapdog, of an especially subservient disposition. 2. spineless boot-licker. 3. a person focused entirely on producing empty fodder for a reelection campaign, to the neglect of all other job duties.

Donnie’s view of his appointees:
“Everyone in my administration is an outstanding person, the most talented of all time, and is doing a fantastic job … until he or she crosses me … in which case this human scum is a complete disgrace and might be guilty of treason.”

Bottom line: When you dance with the Devil, you usually end up badly burned .

If you test positive doesn’t that mean you have the virus, by definition? I’m not talking about antibodies, which generally means immunity, but the actual virus.
