I would like to believe that, but it sounds like wishful thinking to me, because “normal” doesn’t exist any more.
I don’t see their path to this kind of politics because Republicans who aren’t MAGA – just old school GOP – still want things. They want low taxes for the rich, less government regulation, nothing done about climate change, no restrictions on guns, and are often on the anti-abortion train.
They may hate what the party has become under Trump and the MAGAts like MTG and Gaetz, but they will still vote for whoever is on the GOP ticket because they DO NOT WANT Democrats in office. They have no path to go anywhere else, other than vote for what the GOP has become now.
You know the vast majority of voters aren’t listening to these alarms any more than they did in 2020. They just aren’t listening. And when the worst case scenario evolves into reality, Americans throughout the country will wonder how it is they didn’t know this was coming, just like how it was by midterm for TIFG’s administration.
Just like ‘but her emails’, the 2024 election may well hinge on Biden’s age.
We must do what we can to avoid TIFG winning the election, but it takes all of us to avoid it. All of us.
I fully admit that this story left me in tears. This young woman is so damn brave. I’m truly in awe of her. As women like her continue to tell their stories these anti-choice laws are going to continue to be rejected by the voters. Republicans who keep trying to touch this new third rail are going to increasingly find themselves rejected by the voters too.
The information Comer is using was reported months ago, in great detail, clearly showing all of the info and the email. Comer’s group redacted the relevant information themselves so that all you see is the “impeachable payments” which, by the way, occurred when Biden was private citizen, not the Prez or VP.

Well, I’m expecting a lump of coal in my stocking this year. I got crosswise with Santa at a Holiday concert on Sunday. After the sound check, my trombone slide was a little sticky, so I went to the green room and put my horn down on the table. Santa was sitting there in his red pants and a wife-beater tee-shirt. His jolly old elf coat was laying crumpled up on the table. The bell was sitting on his coat.
He gave me a bunch of guff for putting my “oily instrument” on his coat. I said, “If you don’t want it to be mistaken for a rag, you shouldn’t treat it like a rag.” There was no oil or grease on that instrument: I was playing a straight tenor (no valve). I use a silicone slide lubricant, and the inner slide wasn’t on his coat in any event. There was some silicone grease on the tuning slide, but the lubricated surfaces were not exposed.
After the concert when I was putting my trombone away, Santa came into the green room and lit into me again. I said, “I could say a few things, but I’m not going to. So, Merry Christmas to you.”
So, I expect that I’m on that Santa’s very naughty list, to the point that I’m thinking about dropping out of the group.

I read this headline the other day in The Times and I swear to god I wanted to punch the fucking editors there. Every fucking one. “may be more”? What the fuck? Did these tweedy Yale fucks not witness the first? Do they not hear what Fat Boy is saying? Are they this motherfucking stupid?
The Republicans are pathetic. The latest “revelation” is in 2018 President Biden received repayment of 4 truck payments he had advanced for Hunter while he was in rehab. That is the smoking gun? Of what? A father’s love? A son’s desire to prove he has recovered?
Let’s face it, the Republicans once drove down Hillary’s numbers by inventing a scandal so they have to do the same to Biden. They have absolutely no originality.
