President Donald Trump told reporters that he’d “probably” release the transcript of a second call he had with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky Tuesday.

Trump releases those things favorable to him and withholds those things that are not. He is a manipulative, insecure and corrupt jackass.
It needs to be stressed over and over, that this call is from WAY before the offensive call

To hell with the “transcript” of the "other call, we should demand the recording of the July 25 call which was allegedly stored in the code-word protect server in the White House.
We should pressure Trump & guys like Nunes a Gaetz with the same virulence that they demanded Hilary’s "missing: emails.
That is his intent, but as we saw with the other transcript, that isn’t always what actually happens. Perhaps this one will have him confessing to something truly heinous, like voting for a Democrat.

I’m thinking that Trump’s lizard brain is trying to take care of his predicament now by saying the Transcript Lie and he will dream up something else Monday night. What he has accomplished short term with this Lie is snagging some folks on the left side of the I.Q. Curve with some “doubt”…
“Hey, Marge, the President is going to release the REAL TRANSCRIPT and shut those Democrats UP.”
It lets him and his agents say “The call was perfectly ok”, without specifying which call. Grade school level sophistry, but it works with his base.
I imagine the pro-forma congratulatory call, while not revealing any crimes, will still be face-palm embarrassing to any sane person. I can just imagine Trump rambling nonsensically about his inaugural crowd size or his latest golf score.
If that base can sustain him through a very long year and get him a new term, that’s quite a base. Me, I don’t think they’re up to it. Nixon had a base, too.
They can get him past the senate trial, which is the immediate goal. Nixon’s approval stayed well above 30% until the tapes were released.
