After punting for several days on whether he would be tested for COVID-19, Donald Trump said Saturday that he was tested Friday night for the disease.
“I also took the test last night, and I decided I should based on the press conference yesterday,” Trump said at a press briefing.
Trump said a press conference Friday that he would “most likely” get tested, though his physician subsequently said in a letter released around midnight that a test wasn’t necessary.
So, after he had the test, the WH physician said he didn’t need to take the test.
And Trump has been encouraging people not to take the test.
Consistency in messaging certainly does a lot to help in these situations, doesn’t it?
The only thing consistent has been, “I didn’t do anything wrong, it’s Obama’s fault, and our response has been perfect.”
And lying. About everything.

I’m also bemused by the expression “I took the test.”
Maybe he really thinks the test for a virus is sort of a questionnaire he has to fill out.
Which just helps to confirm he’s either lying or doesn’t have a clue why someone stuck a Q-tip™ up his nose.
And is the WH “doctor” the same clown that wrote that letter about Orangeturd’s health back in 2017?

OT, but there is something damned funny happening in AZ.
I have been following the Johns Hopkins state by state stats for a few weeks, and out numbers haven’t budged. We were one of the earliest states to have a confirmed case, then shortly thereafter we got 2 confirmed community acquired cases and 6 presumptive cases - since then, no change. No change at all. While the rest of the country shows a consistent growth in confirmed cases, we have been sitting on the number 9 with 140 or so tests done for the last week. As a state with one of the highest populations (percentage wise) of retired and very at risk folks, this makes no sense to me.
Either AZ has done a marvelous job of containment or thanks to Governor Ducey (a real mini-Trump is there ever was one), we are electing to ignore this. It totally defies all logical sense.

This is the same medical people that said he was in perfect health and had perfect cognition for his annual physicals. He is their boss and if he orders them to lie like they have in the past about his physicals and his I See Sam dementia test they would lie about the results of this test. If you believe the truth would be told I own a bridge that connects the upper & lower peninsulas of Michigan I can sell you for 50 Billion-CASH.
