Christie running for President takes me back to the “good old days”, when the Republican Party’s moral dissolution only involved shutting down a major thoroughfare -strictly for political considerations -thus preventing kids from getting to schools, adults to work, and paramedics taking the critically ill to hospitals.

Trump has stumbled upon, perhaps accidentally, the greatest grift of all -national level politics. As such, their clan will never give it up. If it’s not Donald, it’ll be one of the others constantly running for high office. The good news is none of them possess his highly unique and toxic combination of malignant narcissism, utter shamelessness, a sociopathic lack of conscience, tinged with a modicum of charisma. To be clear, it’s mostly the charisma part they lack.
