Trump’s Coronavirus Treatment: Here’s What We Know | Talking Points Memo

A definite improvement over the simpler Trump “They’re obviously crazy” modality.

There are pictures of him with Kellyanne who is positive.

Fingers crossed.

It will be nice to see a couple that have sincerely built a life together that was not simply a contractual agreement.

Yes, that, and he has all the charisma of a potted plant; he would stand an even smaller chance of winning the election than the ghost of Trump.

So now we need to know if the Thursday afternoon test was a rapid test? I’ve been assuming that there was a positive rapid test Wednesday, but the only way it could have been as late as Thursday afternoon is if they had a policy of just not testing, because the positives of McDaniel and Hicks on Wednesday should have triggered one. Actually, the apparent news of McDaniel’s exposure the previous Friday or Saturday should have, and perhaps did – but their unwillingness to talk about Trump’s last negative test would suggest they just stopped testing to avoid the possibility of a positive test before the debate.

If he’s not infected he’s lucky. Seems likely this thing will go right through the top end of the administration. Smallest violin and all that.

I wonder how many of the secondary players here will face liability for their actions in spreading the disease. Discovery alone could sink them.

The New York Times reports that Chief of Staff Mark Meadows said that "the president has made “unbelievable progress” in his fight against the coronavirus.’

It being 2020, the progress is both unlikely to be true and so great or extreme as to be difficult to believe.

At this point I’d like to see an org chart of the top tier of the administration, with symbols to make clear who’s tested positive so far and who will soon.

I know. It’s really amazing that it’s working just like we would have wished it to work if we could have done this. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

And they totally did it all themselves.

Corticosteroids like dexamethasone that the Preshitident received to treat his diseased lungs and to ameliorate the rapid loss of blood oxygen saturation to dangerous levels, can cause itching.

I know I don’t believe it.

Dumb-ass is single-handily impairing his administration and campaign staff–and less than a month before election day–like a human novichok (Thanks Putin!). He must be going with his “gut.” A putrid, fetid, frothy mix of Diet Coke, KFC and mickey d’s and decades old unpassed SHIT!!

I don’t think trump sewage is normally occupies the brains of the nephews of MIT professors and stable geniuses. But walking, talking human shit like dumbpf? Yes!! Absolutely!!

Ten to one he knew he was infected at the debate and hence “arriving late.” It will come out.

It’s literally amazing. They’re all evil, but most of them are on some level rational, and to risk a deadly disease for ideological reasons or just to please the boss is simply not rational. I thought they were just hyper-cynical but even people like Kayleigh and Barr may be members of the cult.

Absolutely 100% – but I would add the caveat that they have to force the Trumpsters to pull out. Otherwise it gets turned to “Harris was afraid of Dence”…

I wonder if McNinny thought her cross would protect her.

Yes it will, it basically is. Kayleigh’s last press gaggle yesterday, after she took off her mask:

“I’m not going to give you a detailed readout with timestamps of every time the president’s tested – He’s tested regularly.”

This obfuscation is a sign there is dirt there, like when Dr. Conley started hemming and hawing about whether the president had oxygen. When was Trump’s last negative test, and did they stop testing him when McDaniel started self-isolating?
