Shoveling shit? Sounds like any GOP political campaign.
When we bought our property, the prior owners were not enraptured with the idea of manure management, so I spent the better part of a summer with a shovel and a wheelbarow.
By fall, I had bought a nice shiny new skid-steer.
This story makes me wonder if the average gop voter in SC, or Georgia, or anywhere, really, is really as stupid and gullible as people like Wood and Graham assume they are. I mean, people like this are counting on the stupidity and gullibility and naivete and outright seditious tendencies of average Republicans in order to make a living. The gop has created an entire industry around this expectation. Does the majority of the gop really fit this mold? Or, do we only see those lowlifes who insists on demonstrating those qualities in themselves?
I guess the average gop voter has no self respect. Stupid is as stupid does.
In that article, there’s a fair amount of push-back against this idea–most of it having to do with the fact that Miller is behind it. I wonder if, in fact, it’s the push-back that got the article written in the first place: that is, I don’t get the feeling that it’s Miller who pitched this story.
What I find interesting (and yes this is me dumping on my Congresswoman again) is that my Congresswoman last week posted three photos on three consecutive days on FB with the story being how she is talking to this business or that group.
Well my eagle-eyed fellow constituents pointed out that she was sitting at a conference table where the phone was not plugged in. And the next day they showed her sitting at a desk, presumably in her district office with the same two file folders as in the first photo, but with the phone still unplugged. And the third photo had the same set up, 2 file folders, pen in hand, no note pad, but we can now see a window over her right shoulder. The story was who she was talking to on that third day. So I pointed out that the photo couldn’t have been taken on that day because the sky was either overcast, or it was raining, they used a photo with a sunny day over her shoulder.
So all of this IS used to make us believe that she’s here in district doing something, but they can’t even set the props correctly. THERE.IS.NO.SUBSTANCE.TO.WHAT.THEY.SAY.OR.DO!
The difference is if the VOTERS stood up to Miz Lindsey he would pivot like a cheap suit…the true believers will go down fighting and destroying and lying…
This is the thing with Graham’s voters that I don’t understand, he has been all over the place with his bashing of Trump and Trump’s rhetoric, to slavishly kissing his ass over Trump’s blathering diatribes. And I maybe missing some of what Graham is saying in SC as opposed to the national press, but, I rarely hear what he, as a SC Senator is doing for his constituents.
A. I hope you’re right; and B. I also hope his toxicity starts to rot out the support for our AR-15-tottin’, macho-man/remora of a senator, Lindsey, himself. I know that’s a stretch, but stranger things have happened.
My guess is that Lin Wood crossed the border because the Georgia Bar wants him to take a mental fitness test and is looking at revoking his law license.
But add one more to the crazies that we have here in South Carolina.
