I do not know Wood’s full first name…but, being a hoops fan, every time I see him featured in a story using his first lame of “Lin”…
I cannot avoid thinking about Jeremy Lin, a person I was rooting for when he made the NBA scene.
We have to keep an eye out for THIS “Lin”. The GOP is carving out more space in some very bad modes of thinking and acting. That’s why people keep historians around:

It seems to me that reviving the term “carpetbagger” might be helpful if there are any sane people left in the GOP. Lin Wood moves to South Carolina from Georgia so that he can profit from the political climate there. It would be hard to argue that he had a better understanding of SC politics than someone who had been working in the state for years, and it would also be hard to argue that he cared more about the people of the state.
