He did, and he wasn’t joking, and the administration’s lies about him joking were lies, obviously, all along.
That turtle…how he avoids the spotlight
That Senate GOP caucus…how they are delusional enough to believe that “things will go back to normal” after Trump leaves Office.
McConnell, Trump and the GOP Senate are 100% complicit in over 100,000 unnecessary deaths, soon to pass 300,000 this summer, once the real numbers come in.
“President Trump would not say whether or not he had requested that his staff slow the testing down.”
In Nixon’s day, they used to call this a “non-denial denial.” Today it is just Trump lying to us, as is usual and totally expected.
There Mr. Trump goes again, flashing his razor-sharp wit. As Emo Philips would say, “He’s a kidder.”
He’s working hard to do everything except directly order mass executions.
Well, they will be spending money on funerals. The Neptune Society will become a major GOP donor.
“…reached for comment, Trump said that the Walk from the WH Chopper was after a grueling workout session with Charles Atlas shortly before arrival…”
WHO ya gonna call?
WHO Director General: “We continue to urge all countries to double down on the fundamental public health measures that we know work. Finding and testing suspected cases works. Isolating and caring for the sick works. Tracing and quarantining contacts works.”

Agree! If for no other reason than to put future administrations on notice that torches, pitchforks, rails, etc. can be quickly removed from storage and put to appropriate use.
Yes they can and the way things are going they are coming out of storage soonest, too.
I’ve had it with their attempt to kill us all.
And yes @ralph_vonholst - people will be paying for funerals but that’s it - nobody is spending on nonessentials at the moment.
well, at least Trump is not saying (as he did on Saturday) that 25,000,000 people have been tested. In this interview, he says “25 million tests”.
“I’m too good for you people.”
What, no hydroxychloroquine? Heathens.
He’s so fucking stupid to think not answering doesn’t confirm what we already pretty much know. Jebus what an complete idiot.
Someone must’ve gotten word to him that this was another impeachable offense even if he wasn’t tried on it in the House. That’s how serious that comment was if you stop to think about it for even a millisecond. Trying to kill off the American people just so you could run your campaign as if the mortality rate was less than the truth of what it actually is, is shocking but no longer surprising coming from the Mass-murderer in Chief.
He simply doesn’t give a shit if people die if it means he can get himself re-elected lying to people about how the virus is no longer a threat to anyone because less testing reduces the number of cases known to all of us. His thinking is worse than magical or simply being obtuse. Its deliberately injurious, criminally negligent and harmful to the life of all citizens of this country, by holding back from necessary medical care that’s needed to get us through this thing. Its like withholding a test that’s available that could tell you that you have cancer. I don’t see the difference at this point. That’s no fucking joke.
Trump had told, by now, over 20k lies as President, and he couldn’t muster one up for slow-walking the testing? What gives?
In its own way, this is more concerning than his ramp shuffle or two-handed water drinking technique.
Translation:
“Yeah, I did that shit. MAGA!”
in related news, Mississippi hasn’t updated their testing numbers since June 16th, due to “software issues”
I believe that this is like Schrodinger’s cat–if you don’t test, then you are stuck in a quantum state of maybe-maybe not.
Nobody’s apparently spending much on the funerals either.
Before the time of 2016 Brexit even the Brits were talking about the Post-Truth Era.
