How does it not occur to these gop-ers, elected or the non elected administration types, when they are alone with their thoughts: this ship is going down. Do I stay on board? Do I do the patriotic thing and cooperate with the investigations? I know it’s a corrupt group of people from the Prez on down in the WH and in other agencies.
There aren’t that many open Fox slots or right wing think tanks to absorb all of these goons, are there? I sure hope not…

538 has his approval down to 40.8%. It was 41% this morning, and 40.9% in early afternoon. Yesterday it was around 41.2%. Last week it peaked at over 42%. It’s ticking down daily. It’ll hover just over 40% by week’s end. Next week it’ll be in the high 30’s. He’s sinking, slowly, but surely. I don’t care about his hardcore imbecile racist loyalists. They’ll never give up on him. But his softer supporters, ones who like his policies but not the man, and independents, are starting to head for the exits. The credits have started to roll and only fanatics stay for those (well, I do, sometimes, but whatever). He’ll be down to the low 30’s by spring, probably sooner. I don’t see how he survives this.
