Trump Reacts To Stone Ruling | Talking Points Memo

Dear president* Trump; the “double standard” is that all of these people were indicted, placed on trial and found guilty. What about that process don’t you like? And it’s not too soon to think about when you will be undergoing the same treatment.

Tell it to the 12 average Americans who sat on the jury and heard the evidence, asshole.

If you truly believe he was convicted, the victim of a double standard, and you’re not just blowing smoke, then pardon him. Do it. You’re always gassing, so step up Bonespurs, pardon him. Show us what you’ve got. I double-fucking dare you.

He left out the only person who is a compulsive liar that is involved. None of those he listed should have been mentioned but he should have given himself credit for being a lying sack of rat dung.

So they now convict Roger Stone of lying and want to jail him for many years to come.

In this case, “they” is Trump’s own Department of Justice.

Weird how he’s so powerless in the face of this evidently egregious miscarriage of justice. Why is nobody prosecuting “Crooked Hillary?”

That Trump can simultaneously be powerless and the most powerful man in the world is quite a trick.

There is a double standard. Trump and his minions have gotten away with crap that would have drummed any other president out if office long ago. And he’s normalized corruption and debased public expectations about government to unthinkable degrees.

Roger Stone is about 4 decades late for this. But the Bright Side is this:

It means MORE now.

Thanks Rog!!!

Maybe he will pardon Stone and his other friends on the last day of his Presidency, but I wouldn’t bet on it. Trump doesn’t have friends and, to hear him tell it, doesn’t know many of the people who break the law for him.

Shit! I didn’t, either.

What’s the over-under on the number of days before Trump pardons Stone to make himself feel like he still has power? Vegas got anything yet?

Hey how come Sheriff Joe rated a pardon but Rog is hanging out there to twist in the wind?

Phrasing it as a question seems really low energy :joy:

Roger no longer has value. Plus, he tattooed Nixon on his back, not Trump.

@sniffit My guess is he never gives Stone a pardon. That’s how loyalty works in Trumpworld. Once he perceives a person no longer has value, he is done with them. Stone no longer has any value to Trump.
