I hope law enforcement officials across the country understand that the majority of Americans disapprove of Trump’s stance on “law and order”. If they act out at his behest and encouragement, they will pay a further price. They already have with substantial loss of their reputation.
Hopefully, they’re learning from the military and IC as they rapidly back away from the insane hobgoblin.

Same simple-yet-twisted logic as with the military: cops aren’t exactly well paid, so if they were winners they’d be out somewhere making the Big Bucks.
It directly follows that the cops Trump respects most are the corrupt ones, because they’re at least parlaying their badge and uniform into some extra payola. Just like the soldiers he likes best are the war criminals, not those do-gooder patsies who follow the rules.

Sadly I don’t believe the professionalism you find in the military and IC is as wide spread as we’d hope in many of our country’s police forces.

I wish it was as much as a first year officer. I think it’s around $50k. The real crazy shit is after being a cop for 15 yrs you’ll be making six figures or more. The teacher will be at like $55k.

I don’t think most people are taken in by the “Law & Order” slogan. Previous candidates who have run on “Law & Order” (Nixon, Wallace) have made it clear that “Law & Order” does not indicate respect for the law, but rather is racist code for keeping the blah people in their place. In their minds, “Law & Order” is what Rodney King got.

Of course Trump is crowing about a BLM protestor being shot, it’s what he wants his followers to do…a mass riot like that would be just what he thinks will help his campaign.
I do wish the protestor had just allowed himself to be arrested and faced the charges…watching the video, the Trump follower obviously raised his arm from his hip with an object in it and then shot something (which turned out to be a big cloud of mace). In the dark, that’s easy to see as a gun instead, as many police have mistaken phones for guns. Especially since the protestor had seen weapons earlier in the night, it would have made a credible defense…instead he ran away, and then shot it out with the marshals. And, all he’s done now is increase the likelihood that Trump can use his example to rile his base up even more to invade BLM protests with guns, primed to pull the trigger.
Trump’s only making the situation worse…I still don’t see it winning him reelection, just increasing his presidential body count in a different way from the virus.

The Military is wavering? Every single person in this hemisphere must know, you cannot trust him. He will scapegoat you. Period. He has no friends, no allies, and barely family. Everyone becomes his enemy. Even if he is fellating you on TV right this very minute…that is not a good thing. And yet…every agency does exactly what he wants.
Chump truly is a ghoul. A parasite of the 1st order. He cannot exist without something to corrupt and that whole saying about ‘Corrupts Absolutely’? Well I hadn’t lived thru an episode of it before but I know it a little about it now. Watching someone like Chump progress at a geometric pace, and the sweating, jittery, glassy-eyed voting fukstiks who have greenlighted this whole affair.
This Military “Scandal”? I don’t think this is going to move the needle at all. Don’t be calling ANYTHING Chump’s Waterloo. You are 0-fer, Media and Punditry. The Red Rubes and their voters decide when we have had enough, not The Media or The Military. We have no idea how much of The Military has their priorities straight. But we do know how much for the FBI, CIA, DOJ, SCOTUS, USATTS, Sheriffs, and Police Unions, and a whole lotta other Boots Chump and Barr have been scraping together. All they need is for the Military to stay perfectly neutral, while they mobilize everyone else.
