Pretty much. Clearly she was willing to let it all just go away. But they keep digging, so eventually her name is going to leak anyways, once that happens, zero reason to stay quiet, since the damage will have already been done.

Last I heard, we will be denied that kind of political theater because the mics will be turned off between candidate speaking times, like they were in the Trump/Biden debate.
Kamala wanted them on full time, Trump didn’t. Or at least his advisers managed to convince him that it was a bad idea because he can’t control himself.
I suppose this could change at the last minute, and I hope it does. It’s too stage-managed and artificial when the candidates are forced to keep silent while the other speaks. There is no spontaneous back-and-forth that can liven up a boring debate.

As she has said, she knows his type. She will hit him with something that nothing short of a mouth gag would stop him from responding to. He would have failed the marshmallow test as a kid, which, as an adult, would be a hamberder test. He cannot stop himself. Touchy topics: his money, his hair, his losing the election, his loss to E.
